Not a bad pick, though the other 3 teams in the AFC have all beat the Chiefs in the last two seasons. I won't be making an AFC pick obviously. :D

Both matchups should be great, Zurezo and I have always had tight games, and the same is true of Ramesu and Doom.

I'd probably go with the Bears out of the NFC, they already beat the Lions twice.

Looks like I've got my work cut out for me. The Ravens had the #1 rushing d in the league this year.
 
In three seasons I've not played anyone but the Steelers and Chiefs in the playoffs. Only way to break the streak now is to make the Super Bowl. :D

Indeed, it already happened to me in week 2. All I can say is, watch the sweep.
 
You'll be fine...it was just one of those games where my AI was non-existent against the run. It was basically the exact same situation as my Superbowl loss against mog last year, except mog played a hell of a lot better D. Just no one would react to the counter...that's where like 250 of his yards came from. It's really dumb cause his o-line is pretty shitty except for Pouncey. And on the offensive side of the ball, I could move the ball down the field pretty easily, but I couldn't do anything against a non-stop barrage of hit-sticks and strips...3 fumbles lost and like 5+ key dropped passes cause of the strip after the catch. One lost fumble was on a scramble by Flacco but I swear I hit the slide button well before the strip....didn't freaking register! I know I've heard you get frustrated in the past BV from people who start running out the clock with a lot of time left in the game, so my biggest advice for you is to try everything you can to get an early lead....

I feel a little bad about abandoning our game to watch the Tar Heels (I really wasn't thinking at the time about what would happen when I got the ball back on offense...forgot I'd actually have to manually snap the ball), but the game kicked me for excessive delay or something lol. It's just really annoying that Zurezo doesn't seem to care much whatsoever about this league since he NEVER comes in here or responds to PMs, but all of a sudden in the playoffs he cares about winning SO much that he has to start running out the clock with like 4 minutes left in the 3rd quarter. And that coupled with the fact that I should have had a first round bye made it all the more frustrating.

I limited him to 4-5 passing for like 30 something yards and 1 interception. All 4 passes were to halfbacks.....I basically committed everything I had to stopping the run but my usually STOUT run D was worthless this game against an inferior o-line. Madden......

It's annoying that this game can bother me so much...even with my school beating their most hated rival at their home in pretty much a blowout, all I could think after the game was "I can't believe I lost that stupid Madden game" lol.

You and me both. I can't stand when I lose, when it is coupled by losing to someone who I feel like doesn't care it compounds it a lot.

Basically the same few plays over and over. I knew it was coming every time, but like MA said, my defense just wouldn't react correctly.

I won't, but it bothers me as well.

I'd say something to him prior to the game, but it really wouldn't be appropriate coming from his opponent. It is what it is I guess.

I really don't want to go on a long-winded denouncement of the guy before we even play since: A) I like Zurezo - he's a really nice guy, and B) He's been in the league for a long time. At the same time, those two things should position him well not to play like it's a ranked match.

If they can't respond to a PM in 4-5 days then I see no reason to keep them around. I know Cru's is more Internet based and if he gets it together then I'm fine but even when he had Internet he was rarely in here.
