Madden 12 Official CAG League - On official hiatus until Madden 13.
I PMed a couple other people to see if they're available. But if nothing works out, tomorrow afternoon would be fine.
I can sub for him i only have 3 wins

UMX, your private message storage quota has been exceeded, so I'll have to post this here and hope you see it.

Okay, how about 3 P.M. Eastern then?
Just got a call about doing a movie around then. Can you do more like noon or one? If that doesn't work I should be back around tonight at like 10 EST or so.
No, I can't play any earlier than that. I'm leaving at 7:45 P.M. Eastern for a hockey playoff game as well, so I can't play later. Not sure what to do since we're both available only at certain times since I have hockey and he now is doing a movie tomorrow.
You're in his division though.
I play to win plus i know his play style better than anyone. It would be like as if you were really playing him

I think I got them all.

Also, BV, if you get a chance, can you make the swap on DEN/STL (pending approval) for me so I have Jackson against the Chargers in my game that's like 15 minutes from now? if not it's okay, I understand. And can I pick up/you give me a back up safety for depth?

I will try to be less demanding in the future :D

Actually, don't put mine through yet. I messed up the ratings.

OLB DJ Williams, 81 OVR, B POT, age 33

None of these trades will be processed until the end of the Week 10. For example, the Rams already played their week 10 game - Jackson can't be in two places at once. ;)

And no, you can't pick up a backup safety. You have a backup safety and are trading him away willingly, not the same thing as an injury.

All of those trades are approved. Seeing as at least one team in each trade has already played their game, I will put them through before we advance, please don't do it yourselves.

Ahh you work at a hospital...me too. Can you play sometime this morning?

Remaining Games:

Broncos-Chargers (10:30PM tonight)
Browns-Packers (this evening)
Saints-Patriots (this afternoon)
Seahawks-Bucs (sometime today)

So look for us to advance around 11:30PM EST tonight.

Matt Young doesn't seem open to this evening and I'm not sure if he'd be back by 11:30 EST so I'm recommending that someone sub for me against him this afternoon. I could have played him or a sub until now, but I'm heading out now and won't be around when he gets on in a few hours. I'm fine with a sub though since the game is more important for him and even though my record sucks we've always played close games so I think he should be okay with that too.

Gotcha, thanks for clarifying. Good thing I have 6 CBs :D
Alright, that's fine. Can you leave the league before you head out?

Matt Young, let me know when can play and we'll find a sub.
Would it be alright just to sim the game? If not, I have a narrow window where I can get on between 4-6 P.M. Eastern.

I figured, since he already offered to drop and let me play a sub, he'd be okay with a sim. We didn't really discuss the subject of a sim, though.

Bucs won. I got called by a co-worker 3 minutes into the 1st quarter...never had a chance! Time to tank for the draft and one last run

My CBs were trying to keep you in the game by missing 4 easy picks.

Now that our mail server is backup...I'd like a rematch ;)

GG man, sorry I couldn't be full committed to it, we usually have pretty strong matchups!

saints bounty system works cobie ross out for game after 3 tds though dude touches the ball and he is endzone bound

lol I was going to post the same thing. First three carries 80, 56, 85 yard TDS. Fourth carry: Out for the game. Bounty system alive and well!

this second game isnt as good as the first one well other than the first half its been down hill for me

i think cobie ross had about the same amount of yards in both games sad thing is he only had 4 carries in the first game lol. GG BV it was fun

You absolutely brutalized Colt McCoy in that one. He was dreadful. My defense just played really well in the second round is all.

New England Patriots 22 - New Orleans Saints 6

The Patriots hosted the Saints and were able to overcome Colt McCoy's first true stinker as a Patriot behind a strong effort by Cobie Ross and stellar play by the Patriots D. Not going to write up the scoring since it was all Ross runs, Hartley kicks, and one safety.

McCoy was dreadful, completing 4 of 8 passes for 39 yards, 0 TDs and 1 INT. He also took 2 sacks, to give the Pats a net of 29 yards when trying to pass. Brutal.

Kevin Kolb was 11 of 31 for 156 yards, 0 TDs and 1 INT.

Cobie Ross carried 22 times for 242 yards and 3 TDs, and was basically the entire offense (as DVO pointed out, he had about that many on THREE carries in the first game, so it was an improvement for the Saints D at least).

The Saints didn't get much going on the ground, with Ingram carrying 12 times for 28 yards.

Gronk was the leading receiver for the Pats with 3 catches for 25 yards.

Jimmy Graham caught 7 balls (on probably 25 targets) for 117 yards.

Terrance Carswell continued his leisurely stroll towards defensive rookie of the year, totaling 6 tackles with a sack and a safety - he continues his streak of totaling at least one sack, int, or ff in every game, and also gets his 3rd safety on the season. Jonny Kohlhausen added 7 tackles, while Jimmy Wilson came up with the pick.

The Saints got sacks from Jordan and Wilson and a pick by Harper.

gg DVO, thanks for stepping in!

I sincerely hope this terrible passing was just a one game blip and not a preview of what my aerial attack will look like without Julius Thomas. If it is, things look bleak. McCoy's passer rating was 24.5, before this game his only previous game below 100 was 95.8. Yeowch.
Yankees and Red Sox 0-2. I hope this keeps up. :)
Keep your eyes on the Rangers first, Doom ;)

I don't see them dominating again this year, especially with Wilson gone, but we'll see!

The Tigers look scary.
