those free agent rules did not come in effect till main free agent right not singing your own players? i know for one i over payed the asking price to sign my own players back and i know the rules did not get posted till main free agency open

Sorry! Had too many injuries to my WRs last year and still have nightmares of Ryan Spadola dropping wide open catches. My two DTs are expiring this season but figured I can address that problem next offseason.
 
will we have a little time to renegotiate any denied trades , just wondering maybe like 20 to 30 min for all denials not newly submitted ?

Declined - My reason was that Mays has some insane, hard to raise intangibles. With a year of development before DVO would actually get to make a pick Mays is likely to be a monster.

Declined - This one was unanimous again. For me, this is the opposite of the Mays trade. Bell's intangible stats kind of suck (other than superstar dev) while his attributes that are easy to raise are high. I think the second pick is hurting this one more than anything.

Other trades are still under discussion. I'm trying to get them wrapped up before the deadline, but can't promise anything.

I usually drop out of the draft after round 4 or 5, but it turns out my roster is down to a meager 46 players. I'll need to make all 7 draft picks count in order to fill my 53 man roster.

I wouldn't turn down trade talks for an elite SS. I have a lot of FS types that I can send back to soften the blow and then maybe a pick? I'd deal Jarrett or Allen for reference. Or hell, maybe Phillips if the SS is studly.

Just so everyone knows...the Dolphins have spent every bit of their scouting points....and still don't have a clue as to which player they're going to take #1 Overall. So. This is fun. This Draft class. oye.

Same thing I was just doing Im like well know I know nothing more , I wish I would of purchased the scouting package for more points

 
This is going to be a weird draft for me. When I took over the Lions I saw 'weird' stuff, like no DT's - then realized sue and farley we're changed to LE's. I forgot you can swap positions, lol. It threw me off. Lot's of position switches!

I believe you can see this in the transaction log. Unless you're referring to the per year contract that was offered, but if you're just looking for years/total amount, then it is in the transaction log.

Trade Theory : I was pursuing Zach Beadles in the free agency to solidfy my Line but didn't get him even though I know I sent a well paying offer to him , so looking at Carimi he isn't that far off of Beales so he will start for me at RT and I can sit Malinck Watson who couldn't block a baby on the field. I also had shown interest in Jeff Demps throughout the year as a back up to McFadden who is injury prone, his 7 weeks off last season probably cost me a playoff spot, so I need a goto back and Latavious Murray is not that back. I made offers for other Backs because Demps was about 5th on my list, Owners of the other RB denied even taking offers so Demps is up and should be able to fill in well when McFadden goes down and maybe split carries to lower McFaddens load.

Since this was a public rule, i'm going to make this a public statement.

Doo Mane. Hakeem Nicks was asking for 5 years 38.5m  Total. You gave him 5 years 58.5m. This was 10m over what was allowed by the rules.

Next.

L4WII. Danario Alexander was asking for 4 years 15.8m. You gave him 4 years 31.6m. This is 5.8m over what was allowed by the rules.

L4WII. Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie was asking for 2 years 5.38m. You gave him 2 years 20m. This is 4.62m over what was allowed by the rules.

I def read the rules and made an honest mistake.. Next time around I'll get a more detailed example to avoid breaking the rules again..
 
Ugh, fastest 22 seconds ever. I was about to take Nix III and they tell me Steelers are on the clock. My scouting was pointless so hopefully Lofton is okay.
 
Johnny Football is coming to play for the Chiefs! It's going to be a lot of fun running a read option with him and Charles. He has 88 Speed.
 
Yeah, I'm literally drafting based off CBS sports real life NFL draft rankings. Charles Smith was best RB available and projected 2nd-3rd rounder but a reach in our draft. Here's hoping he looks decent in the game.
 
And the jets took Sims didn't think someone would take him that early was going to try and grab him in the 3rd

Yep, same here. I just drafted that wide receiver based on his unofficial 4.33, 40 yard dash time. I hope that translates to Madden.
 
They took my highest scouted but I have too many safeties now. Might have to gamble on some DTs late for depth. Lofton at least has good speed, but no hit pow. Hopefully his tackling is at least high. I imagine everyone is just taking shots in the dark at this point.

I seriously flipped a coin to decide between Clowney and Marquis Lee at #1 overall....if that tells you how bad this draft class is.
