I lag'd it waiting for a response and miss'd the sale....
:wall:

Sold out of the 360 version, but they do have the PS3... I wanna get it but I'd prefer it on 360 since my PS3 backlog is so much bigger than my 360. ;_; hm.... mayhap I'll hope Amazon matches it.
This is less of a game and more an endless stream of f-bombs. It currently holds the Guinness World Record for the most uses of the f-word in a video game. I don't know about anyone else, but I absolutely hate games that overuse this word. Please writers, expand your vocabulary to include other exclamatory remarks. (ex: darn, fiddlesticks, dagnabbit, etc.)
First of all, not sure if serious about that last part of yours...and I'm guessing if you were offended by this game and thought it was that bad, you probably haven't played Bulletstorm yet, right? :whistle2:&

The deal is dead...it's a different Seller selling the PS3 version now.

I thought House of the Dead Overkill held that record? But yeah I know what you mean sometimes. Most of the time I don't mind it,but when games use it so much to where it seems like they're trying to cover up the lack of story (Gears of War),that's when it pisses me off.

I think my days of submitting lower prices to Amazon and risking a sellout while waiting for them to PM are over. I finally gave Buy.com my business after Amazon failed to come through.

Amazon matched Buy.com before when this was $20, but lately they've been failing - they actually raised the price of one item, substantially, after I submitted a lower price. It's kind of like adding insult to injury. Message received, Jeff.

Mafia 2 surpassed HOTD:O with the most f bombs in a game, but I won't be surprised if a game like Duke Nukem Forever passes it.

Either way, both games are MOTHA fuckING great!

To the comments about f-bombs... I don't mind it too much when it's in context like a Mafia game (have you seen Casino?) or a "rough and tough" game like Gears or Bulletstorm.

HOWEVER, I would always like the ability to turn off the swear words. Not playing a game/playing without sound because my Sons are in the next room is going to get annoying.

To me the language in Bulletstorm is excessive and annoying. I'm fine with language in a serious context but that game just seems to try and use it to be funny or "cool".

Edit: I could just be biased because I really don't like that game lol.

Doesn't Bulletstorm have the option to turn off the language and replace it with awesome other words?

Mafia is a decent game for $15, although I would have been disappointed if I had paid full retail price for it as it was pretty short, had close to zero side missions, and felt like 80% of the game was a taxi simulation.
