fucking dammit XBN can suck my cock. When and if I ever pay for a mag, it'll be OXM, just on principle.

OXM is the only one that comes with a demo too, right?

I thought XBN came with a demo, but now that I think about it, it may not.

Right on, it's a 100% suure sign. Never fails.

Anyway, I logged into my XBX.net account and I don't see any way to track my subs. I might post though, since I went to all that trouble.

Anyone know where I can get a subscription to Play Magazine for maybe like 2 years, cheaper than $20 per? Compared to the cover price, that's a steal, but still this is Cheapassgamer not "WePayRetailGamer"

That is a tough one . . . I really like the mag but have never seen a discount for it . . . I paid $20 for a year . . . need to resubscribe this fall . . .
just signed up for the five mags. Do u think this deal is legit?
Most deals I've seen on here are legit. Still haven't gotten my Rolling Stone, but I have 5-6 subscriptions that did work, so I don't think that one should be any different...

thanx cuz the other time i signed up for maxim about a month or two ago and never got it. I did think it was weird that the link took me to a 4x4 site.

I just got my XBN finally. I also got a premier copy of Gamestar. It's pretty good but I didn't sign up for it or ever hear of it until now.

Anyone ever see any Anime/Manga mags on free sites?
mags I would love to get :

Haha, I'd like that too, but it's never gonna happen. There's not enough an installed fanbase to be offering free anime mags, especially when these mags are so expensive as it is.

Here's how free subscriptions work. Sponsors will pay for your subscription for one year. Advertisers will see that a magazine has a significant number of subscribers and purchase ad space to advertise products. If you liked the mag enough, you'll likely renew for a low price, $20 at most for a year. Advertisers will want to advertise more in that mag, and will continue to do so as subscription numbers increase. So everyone - the magazine publication, you the subscriber, and advertisers - wins.

Now let's take Newtype for example. It's roughly $90 a year. No one will sponsor you a subscription knowing that you likely won't resubscribe at such an exorbitant price, so ads would prolly be more expensive to produce, and Newtype would attract less customers and advertisers than gaming mags.

Of course, this is all just theoretical. I'd love to eat my own words if someone could find a free sub. :)

OK, people. When you post deals from freebizmag, please include the selections that you need to use to get that particular mag. Please? Now, I would really appreciate knowing how to get PSM!
