I've been checking and checking but no one seems to have a free subscription offer to the Offical Xbox Magazine anywhere. Can anyone out there help me in my quest??? I've already gotten my first two issues of EGM mag and was pleasantly surprised, I thought they were never going to show up, but I'm still waiting for my Stuff mag. Any help on OXM subscriptions would be great.

I signed up for three free gaming magazines in Jan/Feb and only received one of them: Computer Gaming World. (I received 2 issues the past 2 months)

I didn't receive Electronic Gaming Mag, nor GamePro magazine.
Anyone experience the same missing magazines. If I received an email from EGM, about the digital magazine stuff, then it may have gone into Junk Mail, and I probably completely missed it.

go to https://www.zinio.com to download the mag, that's if your subscription is active.

Depending on the publishing schedule of a magazine, and when you sign up, it can take anywhere from 4 weeks to 12 weeks or more to start receiving a magazine [and this goes for paid subs also]. Basically my experience has been, about the time I forgot about the magazine, I'd start getting it :)

I subscribed to a few magazines a while ago, and so far all I've got has been EGM. I've got two issues of EGM now,and all of the other magazines sent me an email saying that they recieved my subscription, and I've made sure that it was sent in on their website. The only ones that haven't recognized my subscription are Maxim and Stuff, I recieved an email saying that I had subscribed, but their customer service doesn't have me listed. Has anyone else had any problems with them?
EGM has never came to me, neither has GamePro... I get CGW and Computer Games tho...
check Gamepro's customer service site, cause a few people I know plus me tried the offer. Then checked our accounts online to find out that they suspended the account?

I signed for a number of the gaming mags in fall and into January . . .

I get Tips and Tricks and Computer Gaming World started a few months ago.

The Xbox ones never came, EGM seems to be DOA, Gamepro never started. I did find 4 years of EGM on ebay for $4.00 :D Plus

I had signed up for PSM . . . my subscription was ending this month . . . two days the new one came with another year extension!!!

Tried to sign up for EGM. Hopefully it will be sent. I'm just wondering why they would give a free year. There must be a catch.

it was a special promotion they had with eb. if you bought some shit like a system or some games, theyd give you a voucher for the free egm subscription.

The guy selling EGM subs on ebay is legit. He starts them at $2.99 for a 4 year sub (no shipping). I paid $4.07 (beat someone in an auction) . . . my subscription started in about a month. Good until March 2008!!!!!

Can't beat one dollar a year in my book (stringing together freebies is such a pain).
ANY STUFF OR MAXIM ONES? OR PERHAPS PLAYBOY OR PENTHOUSE?
Hmmm, someones a little horny...

Subscriptions are the least amount of money to be made for these companies giving away free subscriptions. It's all about advertising. If more people are reading their mags, they're looking at the products being offered within. If people start buying more of said products, more companies will be interested in advertising in the magazine which means more profits for the company. If magazines were the bread and butter of these magazines, there's no way they'd be able to survive on the discounted offers for subscriptions.

Still, even though I have free subs to Maxim, FHM, Stuff, Computer Gaming Monthly AND EGM, does that mean I'll be running out to get myself a bottle of Eternity for Men or the freshest, dopest pair of Ecko sneakers? Me thinks not, there's too many games to be purchased. :D
ANY STUFF OR MAXIM ONES? OR PERHAPS PLAYBOY OR PENTHOUSE?
Maxim and Stuff are the most common free mags. I think my Maxim subscription runs out in 2020. I have not seen a free Playboy subscription in about a year or 2.
I don't if anyone has posted this yet, but if you register over at www.xbox.net they will give you a year's subscription to EGM, CGW, and XBN.
Thanks for the link.

I registered.

I hope I can get at least one free EGM magazine out of this offer, unlike the two previous times I signed up for a deal like this.

Thanks so much, you rock!

Thanks for the link. I hope that it is not a scam.... However, the site does look reliable. I could really use that EGM subscription.
