Hi all, my name is Mike TV and I'm with MAGFest, the Music and Gaming Festival (http://magfest.org/). I run the Console Department there, as well as generally plan the event, which occurs every January at the Gaylord National Harbor Hotel and Convention Center. We had 9000+ attendees at our event a few weeks ago, an increase of 3000 over the year before, and we're expecting somewhere around 12000-15000 attendees next year. We're a nonprofit and completely fan/volunteer run, which is awesome but means we tend to be flat broke most of the time.

I'm here today to let people know that if you've got old or broken equipment that you don't want anymore, we LOVE donations. I don't want to ruin anyone's business or trades, but if people have any consoles, games, etc. they'd like to see go to a good home where people can still use it, I'd like to let them know we're around. In return we can offer free badges and swag, and we're willing to pick stuff up if there's any of our crew in the area. Here's a couple videos of what we looked like last year, for anyone's who's curious (the newer stuff you see lined up is brought by our friends at the Nexus Gaming Alliance, and the laptops are for the separate challenges section).

Anyway, anything people are willing to donate is much appreciated, and either way I hope a ton CAGS come out and party with us next year. You are all part of the reason I can stretch my meager budget as much as I can, and I can't tell you how thankful I am for that. If you've got any questions you don't want to post here, feel free to PM me or get a hold of me at [email protected].

Thanks!
