I have a whole box of Magic the Gathering Cards I want to sell, from 4th edition mostly. How much would that go for now adays. By box I mean like a File box. I have some alpha and beta card as well. And Rares like Demonic Tutor and stuff? Do you think I could get 200-300 dollars for it?

Really depends on what you have that is also in the current 8th edition (as far as your 4th, revised, or unlimited cards would go.) And most of the alpha cards are fairly worthless since they can't be played in tournaments.

Without seeing what you actually have, it would be impossible to tell you if you could get 200-300 for it. It might be worth your time to just go through and pull all the rares out (and in very few exceptions, the uncommons such as Serra or Sengir, since they were remade as rares.) The commons usually aren't worth their weight in shipping, but that's up to you.

Yeah, if your packing things like Birds of Paradise and Wrath of God, Dual Lands, then your gonna be raking inthe cash. Otherwise your box may just be worth next to nothing if it's just full of lands.

I ahve been out of the loop for years. SO I am not quite sure, between rares and non-rares, and I don't want to get a scrye. I will list my known rares.. they may be more mixed in with the box. I know of at least 10 mixed in. I will trya dn dig them out at some point.

I had atleast 8,000 alpha-Ice Age M:tG cards. Every rare you could think of, tons of them. Used to win major tournaments.. went to sell my cards and found out they got soaked and ruined when my basement flooded. I still get nauseas whenever I see the words M:tG.

I traded all my extras back when I was in 7-9th grade for a few crappy Pc games.... I could kick myself now.

Anyway i have an almost 1005 complete 4th edition set taht is perfect in every sense. But its not complete I would love to complete it.

If I get a list of needed cards would you give me a quote for what you have to fill the gaps?

Again these would need to be perfect or near carsd as my set has done nothing but get removed from the pack and placed into a box.

Sure. 99% of them are in mint condition. I think I have a messed up swamp, and maybe something else. But most are mint.

you won't get much for thoose cards from players who play seriously right now since most major tournaments are type 2 or limited format. i would reccomend going to starcitygames.com they have a big buy list and see what you can get from them

Check up on one of the prices for your card, then see how much the different sites are buying it for. Then pick the site that gives you a higher percentage for all your cards.
