Saw the film during a horror convention last August. You know a movie is bad when the promoters ask for the audience to be videtaped giving their thoughts fro the film after and only one person out of at least a 100 bothers to do so. First, it rips offs bits and pieces of the Halloween and Friday the 13th series mostly. If it had ripped them off properly, this movie might have been worth watching. Instead, I found found it EXTREMELY boring. It doesn't help that it sets up the story beginning with a bank heist, ripping off "From Dusk 'til Dawn"
Pacing is very slow. It was just so damn DULL to be a slasher movie. BTW, a little humor can go along way in a slasher film. I'm not talking about a Freddy Krueger who runs his mouth too much, just occasional banter between characters. None to be found here. I just didn't find the victims to be very likeable (except possibly for the little girL) therefore I didn't care whether they died or not. If you have to see it for yourself, I'd definitely rent rather than buy. I'd hoped Anchor Bay would get into real 35mm filmmaking. Their first effort was just an absolute bomb in my opinion.
