Man.....the internet blows....

Soodmeg

CAGiversary!
I remember when i first got the internet back when i was in like 7 grade (maybe??) i used to stay on it all day and just search for random websites and look at them. Everything seemed to be so interesting and entertaining back then...now every website thats not a forum just seems to use the same topics over and over again..

I hate to say it but i think i am actually bored with the internet. So.....lets make a list of websites that we visit for all of our viewing pleasure. No porn sites though....seriouly if you cant find a porn site you must be trying to type into a stump.

Pandora.com------site that just streams music for ya..help broaden your music collection by playing music that is similar to the music you type in. 5 star

VGcats.com---Internet Comic Basic internet comic that uses 2 cats to make fun of current video game stars. 4 Star

Penny-arcade.com--though alot of people hate it i still find their web comic it be entertaining. 3 Star

deviantart.com-----Has tons of user created wallpaper 4 Star

Windowblinds.com----find out about the program and go to town customizing your computers looks. 5 Star

Torrentspy.com---For reasons that should be clear. 4 Star

Ign.com---- Video game sites with the only reviews i trust. 4 Star

Gametrailers.com- Site that shows the newest trailers for 95% of any video game already made, being made, or still being thought up. 4 Star

IMDB.com----As every movie every made with trailers plot list, reviews, cast photos, you can also find out every movie any actor every played in. 5 Star

Cnet.com Tons of computer and electronic information must see 5 star.

Detroit Movie Thears-----If you dont live in or near detroit this wont really help you but i go to it for all my movie questions. 3 Star

http://cheston.com/pbf/---- The Perry Bible Fellowship---- Dont let the name fool you it has nothing to do with the bible it is a extremely funny and witty comic strip a must see 5 Star.

Thats about all the sites i go to over and over just waiting for updates other than that i just use the internet for instant messaging and video games.

also google stumble upon -- it's a neat firefox plugin that shows you random sites based on your interests... very good when you're bored and want something you haven't seen before.

Bens Bargains - I just use it for getting some free stuff, but it's generally tech bargains

TFW 2005 - Generally the most informed transformers site with the most bumping forum

Magic Box - International video game news. Basically I get to find out about games before magazines get a hint of them.

Kotaku - Informational video game articles

Shortpacked! - A comic that tells it like it is for a action figure collector

Daily Dose of Imagery - Website full of beautiful daily photos

Hack a day - A place to find out how to modify everyday electronics to your own specific needs

Kuro5hin - A place with interesting articles

Hey Fire? Those links are all on the illegal side. I'm not quite sure that the mods would approve...

That said, they're great on a college connection. :D

Not really, they're all mp3 blogs. gorillavsbear, myoldkyhome, etc.. just put up singles...it's just a sample listen, but I guess i'll just take them down.

Besides, you're just supposed to delete them after 24 hours. They've each given me some great listens to some bands I would otherwise have never heard of and then went out and bought the cds.

Yeah.. I thought it was legal to download roms and stuff only if you had the orignal copy and if you didnt only if you deleted it after 24 hours? I might be wrong its been i a while since i even cared about laws about the internet.
Maybe the old saying to much of a good thing. um?
Not so much...i wouldnt call most of the internet "good" in the first place. Lets say you put in a topic like video games into google, you will get at least 87823463642868723747 websites. And out of those million of websites only a small fraction of sites will be worth going to. I would say the ratio is about 50 to 1 for me. (of course this is going to vary from person to person)

In my honest opinion for every 50 sites i see i truely only return to about 1 or 2 of them. Maybe thats just me though.

Add the dash that I added in yours too, without the dash used to link to some nasty porn site, I'm not going to check if it still does cause I'm at work.

I'm pretty sure everyone and their transsexual uncle knows about SeanBaby.com, and I don't think it's been updated in a few years, but I pretty much feel obligated to mention that. Great site to kill some time on, even after you've already enjoyed the content a few times over the years.

Gonna post in this thread, since I think that by accident I delete someone's PM to me. Please just send it again. thanks.
