I hate to be lazy, but that thing's 56 pages. I read through 3 and I can't figure out what the problem is. Mind giving me a quick summary of what problems I can expect? I'm very close to ordering it, but this info could help me make a better-informed decision.

the first one is worth a lot of money if it is the RQ version. so hence why shrike is saying here we go again. this one will be in high demand as well.

there was no problem, the limited edition of the first game was a figurine- some people were excited by it, others disappointed, some bought solely to resell, others lamented not buying in time
some people did resell for a decent profit

this time is the only difference with rosenqueen the calendar/artbook? will all editions have the ost?

Yeah, the version at regular retailers will be $39.99 and come with the soundtrack.
 
I remember ordering one of these last time. Didnt it come with a figure though? seems to be the seperating factor here for me. The box was bigger :)

That was an irritant for some people, and something they said they wouldn't do for future pre-orders.

Second, people went back and forth about following through with the pre-order, so the quantity jumped up and down as people canceled their orders.

Third, there were some shipping issues with the items going out in a timely manner when it came out, so some people were a little irked about it taking a while to show up.

I did a pre-order for the first one, and didn't have any issues, save the surprise of the charge up-front. If Rosenqueen gets off their ass and sends me the password link to reset my password, I'll go pre-order this one again.

Actually the figure that comes with Mana Khemia 1 isnt worth that much. You rarely see auction for that go over $100. Thats pretty low for something that is limited to 1000 (not including import)
 
wow I did not know that people had that many issues with RQ. I have ordered a couple of things from them and have had no problems. I assumed you were referring to the low quantity made and the fact that people want that version badly.

In total, MK2 would cost me $55.00 if I buy it from rosenqueen. Though I love some of the Rosenqueen swag, I can buy Mana Khemia 2 from Amazon for roughly $35 (give or take) after ECA discount and if I can get it in my goldbox again. I have prime shipping so even better for me.

If I wasn't in such hard times (financially) I would have jumped on this. But since I'm a gamer in this economy, I'm trying to save anything I can on my favorite hobby.

I'm in the same boat. Ill probably lose intrest by the time they send it ... if at all.
 
I still have 2 Scholarship Editions sealed/new sitting in my closet. I... don't know if I wanna pick this one up at all. Rosenqueen's ship rates are retarded; the service overall is mediocre, but you don't really have much choice in the matter if you want the special editions.
 
Amazon with ECA + GB is $32.29. So about $23 for a calender and artbook... Well, I don't know if the Amazon version is LE with the included OST. Red Scarf Prinny almost lured me in, but I'm going to pass.

Site is working fine for me.
 
site was working earlier but now when I go back to place the order (had to confirm I actually had money to afford it right now) the site is down :bomb:
 
I managed to get in a pre-order, though I had to run through it twice, as it dumped my first one out of my cart working to the checkout process.

I do have an order #, so if I don't get one, look out. :D

My guess is the site is getting hammered right now, so it'll be a bit ugly for a bit until demand tapers off, or they run out of copies.

I saw this thread at work as soon as it went up. I hit the site to preorder and couldn't remember my password beacuse the last time I was there was to preorder MK 1. . The site was working fine.

I can't check personal email at work so I come home intending to order now and the site has been killed. :bomb:
 
This better still be in stock when/if their site comes back up or I will be pissed! This is almost as bad as the time Atlus did a stealth re-release of Persona 2 on Amazon and it was only available for an hour or so.

I eventually realized I didn't need the figure and got rid of it, still ended up with the regular edition game thanks to a Best Buy clearance.

... will probably support this as well.
