*** DaPhatty Edit: Buyer Beware. It seems most people who have ordered from this place have had issues. Call ahead AND MAKE SURE the condition of the item you are buying is as it states on the website (i.e. New=Sealed, etc.) ***

these games are all new and im assuming they are sealed. there are many different sections but ill highlight a few i think are mega steals.

LOTS of great games there... I wish I had money to get them.

I'd love to get a new and sealed Um Jammer Lammy and Saga Frontier.

Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure - $29.99 (Sold Out)

You've got to be kidding me... they were really selling it for that price? The game regularly goes for $150-170 on eBay. Also, I've checked this store several times (the website and the actual stores) for this particular game over the last couple years with no luck. Infuriating...

That place sucks. It's completely unreliable, and 75% the stuff they have on their site isn't EVER in stock. They never bother to update anything on there.

The shipping is horrendous as well because it's from Hawaii. Just forget about it and move along :p

I agree. I tried ordering things from them last year, and the product was not (or was ever) in stock despite what the site claimed. Waitied about 4 months (yeah, I'm way too lenient. :( ), no product.

The customer service from them, however, wasn't all that bad, they were quick to reply and update me on any changes, had no hassle with getting a refund quickly.

I though it was good. The only problem I had with it was the fact that you lose all your items and exp each time you left one of the dungeons.

I also had problems with the site. Last year I ordered a Pop N Music controller, and 2 games. The controller and 1 game shipped within a few days but the 2nd game never shipped. My credit card statement came in and I was billed for all 3 items. I e-mailed them and they explained the 3rd item was backordered (nice of them to notify me that it was backordered, or should I say, not notify me!) and it would ship within a few days which was almost a month after the other part of the order shipped. Their customer service is horrible.

And I can't say if it's true or not but I have heard from other people that ordered new games from them and ended up getting opened games.

Well, both of their stores are only a few miles from where I live, so shipping isn't a problem. I can also say that I've never had a problem with checking their site to see what's in stock and going to the store to actually buy it. Then again, I've only bought from them a few times because their prices are usually too high.

I can also confirm that ordering from this site is a pain in the ass. They do not update their inventory very often. So, chances are whatever old title has you all excited, they don't really have anyway. It's like they don't bother to check and see what they have in the back until someone already orders something. THEN they'll update their site to show that they ain't got none of those no more. They'll go ahead and charge you for the items you order even though they don't have them and have not shipped them. WTF?!!! However, getting a refund isn't too difficult either.

Believe me it's not worth the trouble. Give them a call and watch how the prized item you want to buy will magically dissappear from the website as they notice that they actually haven't had it in stock for over a year.

that pissed me off too man

Same bad experience with them. Stocking is horrible. They charge immediately. Customer service sucks when they claim they sent emails that they didn't really send (although they were responsive the first week). Returning my money took me making a call to them and finally appealing the charge. They returned my money 6 weeks after I was informed they were OOS on my item (which was 2 days after I placed my order). Definitely call them first if you want to buy something that sounds too good to be true. Basically, you should really be thankful they didn't have Rhapsody available or you could've had a major hassle on your hands.

That game really really sucks, I mean, those... songs...

Could be great to resell, though, if the site ever had ANYTHING in stock.

The first order I placed, no problems.

The second order, I paid for a $60 Hori Soul Calibur 2 joystick for Gamecube. They billed me $60 but sent me a $40 Nuby Soul Calibur Joystick. We ended up working out a deal for me to keep the Nuby stick, and they would ship the Hori stick for $40 and free shipping. At that point, I assumed it was an honest mistake.

Shortly after the second order and receiving the correct joystick, I ordered Suikoden 3 and Rayman 2 (PS2). Both hard to find, but they claimed to have both new and in stock. I got the Suikoden 3, but it was used and had scribbling on the cover and a mysterious substance crusted on the cover and manual. They did not ship Rayman 2, but did manage to bill me for it.

I e-mailed them about both problems. This was their response:

"We are sold out of the rayman, but have the item on order and will
send ASAP. As for the suikoden, we sent you the store copy of the game
because this item is hard to find and may be discontinued. So we wanted to get you something."

Back to the second order, I check my credit card statement a few weeks later, and they billed me an additional $50, instead of the $40 we agreed on, to send me the joystick I actually ordered. So I ended up spending $110 to get 2 items that should only have cost $100.

BUYER BEWARE of ToysNJoys, unless:
- you like paying full price for used games
- returning items you didn't order, or
- getting billed for games they will never ship (how do you order an out-of-print game?).

I'll also confirm that ToysNJoys sucks. I ordered Metropolis Street Racer (DC) from them TWO (2) years ago and it was out of stock then, and it's still listed on their site. I also had called my order in to make sure they had it in stock. All I was told was that yes, they had it and to order it through the website. So I did and it was not in stock. So calling is useless as well.

They're trying to sell Beyond the Beyond for $20, that's a red flag right there.

Anyone paying real currency for that piece of shit needs to be shot in the face.

Well this site was a total washout. I ordered a new SNES Mario Kart, paid with Paypal, and just got a lame message from them several days later that merely says "sold out". At least they refunded me without any fuss, but I don't think I'll be bothering with that site again.

Rascal is way overpriced at $10. I got it for free and felt ripped off. It's an object lesson in how not to design a 3D platformer.
