many old game bought in auction

Hey all!

i just got off the phone with my uncle, and he bought a video game lot for 1400 bucks. Sounds like alot maybe, but he got a ps3 with 5 games 2 controllers a blu ray remote and 4 blu rays, a 360 elite with 4 games 3 wireless controllers and hd dvd add-on, and a Wii(just system new in box) But, thats not the best of it. He only wants the new stuff, he told me i could have the rest, he would send it in. He told me some of the contents, alot of crap, a few genesis systems and a saturn and dc and nes and genesis, don't know if it works or not. But he told me he found some sealed games, here they are:

Earthbound
Chrono Trigger
Final Fantasy 2 and 3
Final Fantasy 1(nes)
commadore 64(yea, the old one, sealed!)
ogre battle
ogre battle 64
tactics ogre(psx)
Tales of Destiny
Suikoden(not sure if its 1 or 2)
DDS and Nocturn

he told me there are more, but didn't have time to look right now. He really does not want the games, or know the value, so he has them sent to me. I know they are worth something, but not real sure on what.

any help?

no, not aprilfoolz(why does it bleep this out if spelt right with a space?). I was thinking the same thing when i got the call, but i know he was going to an auction to try and get a game lot, and i knew it may have a cpl things in it, but never knew it would have these.

and yes, they are all still sealed, in the original boxes!

master - i don't have them yet, i am waiting to get the shipment. Not sure what i am doing with them yet, if i will keep for my personal colllection, or sell them. He said there are aot of games there, for all systems. He just kept this gen stuff

If this isn't an april fools, start doing completed auction searches on ebay. You got the motherload in valuable games. Chrono Trigger and Earthbound in same auction stretches believability.
Do you have a link to the auction? If not I call BS.
Ditto that... shouldn't be too hard to get a link.

I'm not saying it isn't an April fools joke, but from the sounds of it, this uncle is suppose to have gone to a real auction, not ebay.

yea, he went to an estate auction in ontario. i don't know many details more about it. I know he was going to the auction, i know he did buy some stuff, and i know he did tell me this stuff was in there. Now, when all is said and done, i hope its not an april fools joke, or i will be very mad with him. As i know these games are worth money, and it would have got my hopes up to own some of the great games.

If you want to play them, I wouldn't open them. Instead sell them and buy another copy that was already opened. You'll make someone's day and a little profit, even after buying another copy, at the same time.

Not buying it until i see proof. I have plenty of factory sealed snes games so i can tell you whether they are legit or fakes.

This is what you want to do.

Yeah and my aunt found a box of sealed copies of Panzer Dragoon Sagas along with a bunch of Babe Ruth rookie cards at a garage sale and gave them all to me because she just wanted the box they came in.

Damn... I would've taken the box. Boxes are so much fun if you use your imagination.

You forgot to add the blank stare and silly Spongebob grin, while opening your hands which were together over your head to form a rainbow, while saying 'IMAGINATION'.

Many old game bought in auction. That sounds like a phrase from a fortune cookie.

You may be able to help out this guy who just emailed me...he'll wire you lot of moneys if you give him a sihmple bank acount number and your personal information.

I'll send him your way. He claims to be a Prince! For real!
