Yeah, good races. I played a round with my friend from TN right after you. His firewall is what was causing our problems. I also put my DS in the DMZ - don;t know if that helped or not.

Well I've tried racing on worldwide like 3 times tonight already. I start getting ahead of the other people and they drop out. How am I supposed to build a good record if people just quit?
 
am i the only one that thinks the ranking makes no sense at all, my wins and losses are all over the place, it doesnt make any sense! anyone understand it?
 
From what I've gathered, you get a win for each person you beat and a loss for each person you don't.

Example: If you finish 2nd in a circuit with 4 people, you would get 2 wins and 1 loss.
 
That makes much more sense.
I was kind of wondering how I was 6-3, and I had played like, three circuits online.

I'm enjoying single player and battle mode with friends more than online. Really makes me want online battle :(.
 
How do you find out your win-loss record? I know it's staring at me right in the face but I can't find it. Does it only appear when you do a WFC match?
 
Go to "Records" on main menu.

It also has your VS. records.

I'm like, 45-3 in Battle, and 40-1 in races.
Local people suck compared to online.

I've come to realize that the more that I play in a single session, the more my hand cramps...and the more that I suck. But you want to know what....I don't care. I am having a blast. So much fun.

i don't know, i just really like Mario Circuit. i've learned where exactly to drift on that course and just how long to hold it for. it's probably where i'm best at.

Yeah, that was a really close game. I should of shot that red koopa shell a little earlier on Mario Circuit, maybe I would of won. :D
 
Great races godhates, fun and intense the whole way through. I had a phone call so I had to take off, otherwise I wouldve done another round. I'll be on later tonight though.

Edit: Yeah, you're awesome at Mario Circuit. I think my strongest courses are DK Pass, Wario Stadium, and N64 Choco Mountain. I was doing well on Luigi's Mansion both times, but at the end near the mud is when I would lose it.

so if you're first, in a 4 person game, you will get 3 wins.

and if you get last, in a 4 person game, you will get 3 losses.

second place, 2 wins and a loss.

AFIK, thats right. Im gonna add that to the OP until someone says its wrong :)
 
the thing about those rankings, it doesnt explain why i am losing losses, i had 5, then i went down to 3 then down to 1, then back up to 2... thats the part im really confused about, i dont seem to be losing wins, but my losses are def. fluctuating

Good races. I obviously have some improvement to do, and some more karts to earn. Every time I race Dry Bones, it seems like that guy can drive thru sand with no slowdown!

yeah, Dry Bones has the highest acceleration.
 
that sucked, i was just playing with daroga, and 2 others, and i dropped in the last race, im so mad, i cant wait for the comcast guy to get here tomorrow, if he doesnt fix it ill kill all of comcast
