Mario Kart Wii + game for $43 at Gamestop

CAGiversary!
It's a bit complicated though.

Rayman: Raving Rabbids for the Wii just dropped to $18 on the used price

If you can get ahold of two of these (then the current sell would allow you to get another game for free) and then use an Edge card it should cost around $33.

Then trade in the two Raving Rabbids and pay $10 for Mario Kart Wii.

So $43 for MKWii and another used game for $18 for less.
All that work to save $7. Is it really worth it?
You get a free $18 used game out of it as well, so not that bad assuming they still allow the game to be traded in towards Mario Kart.

Yeah, you save 7 bucks and you get a $18 dollar game. Like I said, it's a bit complicated and not everyone would want to do it, but some people might.

Double check with your store because I could swear someone had reported it as not possible to trade in multiple copies of a game for this deal in the other thread.

BTW, a friend of mine got Mario Kart Wii at our local Costco for $43.xx out the door. So if you have one nearby, it would be a lot simpler.

But will you get another game at $18?

Just went down to my nearest GS. Raving Rabbids was NOT on the list (although RRR2 was). My son has been wanting Mario Kart Wii, so I got Cooking Mama, MOH Vanguard, and No More Heroes ($26.99 used each) with the B2G1. Kept NMH, traded the other two in on MKW, with my Edge cart, the total I paid for the two games came to $60.42, tax included. Not as great a deal as if R:RR had still been included on the list, but considering MKW and NMH would have been $74.28 plus tax by themselves (with 10% off for NMH used with the Edge card), still not bad.
Rabbids 1 doesn't work for the promo anymore.
When exactly did that change, because it was on the list Monday.

Don't know, but it wasn't on the list on the coupon sheet the store worker gave me when I asked about it. Guess they must have removed it when they dropped the price on Rabbids 1.

$43 too much for this game. I'll be waiting a long time till it comes down to $30, then Ill buy it. (too busy with GTA4 360)
Must be YMMV, because I traded in Raving Rabbits 1 today for the MK deal
I'm thinking some stores either didn't get the memo, or that some markets aren't taking that game in at all.

Glad it worked for me. Rabbids + RE4 (I'll get it again after the AAA game explosion) and $8 for Mario Kart. Can't beat it.

I went and did this yesterday (got GOW2 with it) and they allowed me to do Raving Rabbids. My girlfriends wants to get MKW for her little brother, so I guess I really need to do it again today before the Gamestop here realizes Raving Rabbids 1 isn't supposed to work for this anymore!

I went yesterday to my local gamestop and the deal worked for me. I used two of the same raving rabids that i bought from Gs the same day and used the buy 2 get 1 free. however....when they say trade 2 games you get mario kart for 9.99, they put the two trade in games as 20$ credit each, totaling 40, and i pay the remaining 9.99. but they charge me tax for 49.99 which comes out to me paying 14.XX. can anyone confirm is this how its suppose to be done??
