Mario Kart Wii Stock?

Apparently it's back ordered until the end of July.

The majority of the shipments are going to Europe because the EURO is stronger than the dollar. Nintendo, being a Japanese market, makes a ton more money selling them in Europe than here. Hence why we don't have many Mario Karts and Wii Fits.
 
Saw some MK at Wal-Mart or Target the other day. I would have grabbed some, but reselling is something I have mixed feelings on.

Uh huh, sure it is.

I got lucky and found 2 of the bundles at a target when they were doing that Buy 2 of a certain game (MK was one of them) and get High School Musical sing it, free. So I sold 1 of the MK games for $64 plus $8 shipping and the High school musical for $30 and got MK basically for free.

That was the only time I had seen the MK bundle though. Haven't seen it since.
 
Store stock all depends on where you live. If you live in a rural area you may be more likely to find it. Where I live, you can call every store for 100 square miles and not find it.
 
Is this game really that rare? I found one in NYC easily in early May. In fact, it was the first store I went to and I didn't even know there were stock issues...
 
i still had no luck looking for one. i called bestbuy and they told me that nintendo restock once every 2 month.
 
I took two copies of Blastworks into Gamecrazy last Tuesday, and they had a new copy of Mario Kart from a delivery received the day before. I was going to buy it then saw that they had a used version for $37.

So for less than $20 spent at Best Buy I got Mario Kart and $19 in credit. It din't come with th wheel or outer cardboard box, but to me that's no big deal.
 
Is it really that hard to find? I live in LA County and I can find about 30 within a 10 mile radius and that's just Gamestop. I bought it and regret it, Double dash is loads better. I paid $50 for it, played it for 30 min and threw it in my closet. I would trade it to someone but there really isn't anything worth it right now. Maybe some 360 games or something but whatever. And the shipping will kill me since I am a cheapass and don't like paying $7+
