Mario Paint DS: Good Idea?

I loved Mario Paint for the original SNES. If Nintendo made one, I would so buy one.

It's already out. They have it in Mariokart DS and Animal Crossing.

But yeah, a Mario Paint DS would be an excellent idea, but they would have to add a lot to it to make it not just the paint prog in MKDS and ACWW.

Didn't I read somewhere that they are coming out with this for Wii or something? Maybe my memory is faulty, but I coulda sworn...

If you're thinking of what I think you're thinking - it was in a mag (EGM IIRC) but I believe it was a goof/speculation of what Wii games could potentially be. A Bob Ross 3D paint game using the Wiimote.
