Amazon lowered the price to $14.25. Should I e-mail them for the .75 Adjustment?..........................................Of course because I'm a cheapassgamer!!!!

Now $13.53..........Had to get another adjustment. I wonder if the Amazon Customer Service know me by now.

It looks like it jumped back to $29.99. I know it dropped to $13.53 just recently and it was $13.53 today. If you guys are going to get the adjustment, You need to e-mail them TODAY!!!!! no later

You can cheat through your first play-through, then unlock the achievements on the second play-through with the same save (as long as, you don't cheat again). WARNING: The game will be REALLY BORING using the cheats, so use at your own risk.

thanks a lot OP, i hope it's not the platinum hits box. great deal either way. got this with some dragon dynasty movies as my fillers :)
This is back in stock right now. Just picked it up myself. I love Prime. :) No filler for me!

Really enjoyed this when I played it so long ago. Got rid of it before the price drop, and now i'm happy to play it again with the DLC. Loved the funhouse level where you get to play in old games!!
Can you get back to me ASAP whether or not it's Platinum Hits

Better not be PH or its going right back...

And the PH version is called Marvel Ultimate Alliance: Special Edition so it gives me a little hope that its not the same one....

good enough? also, amazon explicitly states 'gold edition' and new heroes/villains in the 'product features'

Thanks for the info OP. I've been holding off on the game for a while, so I'm glad I was able to pick this up for $15.

I know what the covers look like... I know Amazon states its 'Gold Edition'...
Both Editions [PH and Gold] have the "new" heroes/villians

But like many retail sites [Best Buy / Circuit City / Walmart] they consider this item the same as the "Gold Edition" even though it has different SKUs/UPCs...

Amazon isn't perfect either, I've been sent REGULAR editions of games when I specifically ordered LIMITED EDITIONs [on more than one occasion]...

I'd like to get the Gold Edition, but I actually don't mind Forza Motorsports. I'll probably just keep the two-pack and I have get the extra content when I finish the game and want another challenge.

They're all out to get you.

Actually I've actually gotten stuff in my favor in these mess ups...

I once ordered Viva Pinata [regular edition] for a friend and they ended up sending me BOTH the Regular and Collector's Edition... My guess is someone thought it was a free addon or something but I thought they used automatic conveyers like Newegg does so who knows how I really ended up getting both...

I rented this game a year ago and played through about 3/4 before a scratch prevented me from finishing the game. I've been looking for this gold version for < $20 ever since. I'm in for one. Thanks OP!

Btw, for anyone who has this version of the game already - are the extra heroes and villain packs in the gold edition of the game already on the disc - or do you get a code to download them onto your hard drive?

On disc...

You won't be able to figure out those sort of errors unless you try, so it's pointless to ask 'is it true?' Sometimes, you just gotta take a chance.

i ordered MUA when it was in my gold box for $14.25. nice to know the price dropped, even though it doesnt matter for me.

i noticed the price drop as well and my order is in the shipping soon status already. gonna email them as well.

question...if i already played MUA (regular) and got some achievements..and then decided to play the gold edition, will it be considered the same game? Like will I still have my past achievements, saves, etc..or is the gold edition gonna be treated as a new game on my 360?
Man i love amazon prime. definitely not the PH edition.
thanks, i'm relieved :)

Since my order was still pending (I was ordering a Hellboy graphic novel, too) I just cancelled my order and reordered it and saved my $.75.

hey fellow GGCer! :D
Thanks anyway, OP, but I'll stick with my Marvel:UA/Forza 2 double pack that I picked up on Amazon Marketplace for $17 shipped.
Damn $17 isn't bad for that. I got 3 of em sitting in my closet. Best Buy had them sitting behind the CS desk and tossed 6 of them in my bag when I bought GTAIV.

Why is it that going from $15 flat to $14.25 and a savings of a measly $.75 makes me want to order it? If I hadn't stocked up on accessories and gear in anticipation of my PS3 I'd bite...but with my wedding on Saturday and the cost of the Gun Metal PS3 bundle, 250GB HDD, Blu-Ray Remote & Drake's Fortune (thanks again for the last two Amazon! #-o) I need to restrain myself.
if only i could find 10.25 of useful filler...
Unless you already have it, might I recommend Full Auto @ $12.79? For the price it's a great distraction.

http://www.amazon.com/Sega-Of-Ameri..._8?ie=UTF8&s=videogames&qid=1212612261&sr=1-8

Barring that, keep an eye on their Deals & Outlet section...I don't know which systems you have but there are always a ton of things in that general price range that could work as filler.

i had full auto and i noticed that too... i was going to get COD2 when it was 9.99 but the total was only 24.99... now it's $14 but that isn't worth it... i only buy 360 games and i'm considering Mass Effect but i really want that MUA since i still have to finish GTA, N3, AoT, PDZ, AC, BK, HL2: TOB and about 20 other games... and i love online Co-Op games so much

Well with a backlog like that (and trust me, I can relate) Mass Effect is something you won't have much time for. I agree that CoD4 being over $10 makes it harder to swallow as an impulse buy. I have Prime now, but before I did I always supplemented my orders with filler like food, batteries, etc. that I knew I could use and would probably just buy from Wal-Mart in the near future anyway. You probably already know about it, but www.filleritem.com is a great resource in your position!

I already own the Forza2/MUA pack I got with my 360 for Christmas. Considering I've been contemplating getting the two Hero/Villain downloadable content packs and they cost $10 already on Xbox Live and my 20 gb space is getting more and more cramped for space, this is a nice alternative for a couple extra dollars.

And after you get married, you won't have time for as much gaming as you thought. Congrats, though. :applause:

Definitely congrats! Although, YMMV on the gaming - I still do as much as before I got married. In fact, I got this second copy of MUA as much for the extra characters as for having a second copy to play co-op with my wife.

filleritem never works for me... it gives me crappy selection with the wrong prices...but thanks anywho (not to mention i have MUA but the reg version and about 10k+ mspoints but i dont want to to spend any of em... and i have $80 in amazon credit but i dont wanna spend that either... decisions, decisions :booty:)
And after you get married, you won't have time for as much gaming as you thought. Congrats, though. :applause:
well u shouldn't have gotten married then :), no but seriously even with time i only tend to play 1-3 hours a day at most... maybe once every 2-4 weeks i'll have a 5 hour day (very rare)...

I stand corrected - it's been awhile (8 years) since I was married. I forgot that when you're first married, your gaming life doesn't change as much, but when you start having kids it's a whole new ballgame. I have a 2 year old and another on the way and I'm making the most of my nighttime gaming while I can. Right now I think I play about 1-2 hours a night if I can.

My wife loves gaming, too but she's too much into crocheting now, though she used to play Quake II and Diablo II all the time with me.

You do know you can already play co-op with your wife with one copy of the game, right? Is this for when you're in the dog house and she can play MUA on her Xbox 360 and you can play MUA on your 360? ;)

Nice guess, although I doubt of all things she'd be playing MUA on her own. Sure, you are right and local co-op is there, but sometimes it's just nice to have your own screen. Less so with something like MUA as opposed to Halo 3 or Gears, but still. I know, I'm just weird, what can I say.
Plus if you get the RROD at least you have a backup.
Sadly, yes, that has already happened once.
