Let me ask a stupid question (which I'm assuming the answer is no). Can you activate the EA downloads on Steam?
Unfortunately you can't.
It doesn't seem to work for me. Says "Invalid Promo Code".

Is it over? Would like to get ME2 for the PS3.
Unfortunately :(
Does the ME2 DLC ever go on sale?
That's what I really want. Unfortunately, that's not sold by EA. That ball is entirely in Bioware's court.
passing for $2? thats not being a cheap ass, thats being a fucker
it's $6 for the ps3 version i was looking at. either way, there's no wrong way to be cheap, be it $2 or 2 cents. :p
i thought the same thing. And from the OP, it still looks like that. What am I missing here?
I wonder if it is because the 360 version came out before EA had bought Bioware.
ME1 was on PC after EA bought them, so I guess they can still offer that one

Just my guess though, that might not actually be the case

Kind of disappointing, I was looking forward to getting both games for $20 shipped

yes a few times during the last year so far. check the xbox live dotw thread. not too long ago, it even went on sale insanely cheaper than usual and a lot of us bought all the dlc packs, but that is not that often.

I picked up a digital download of Mass Effect 2. I just got my new Alienware M11x in the mail today! I've beaten and have ME1 and ME2 on Xbox but I had to get it to see what my new laptop can do. Thanks OP.

The PC versions are a lot better (controls are far superior and the graphics are better of course)

That's what I've always heard. I can't wait! I'm going to hold off on downloading it because I got a 500gb HDD coming from Amazon.

Its been on sale before. During the Christmas sale, they were 200 pts each. Grabbed 2 of the 3 (didnt grab Overlord) even tho I didnt have ME2, but I got it later at BBV.

Probably because Mass Effect 1 was published by Microsoft which is why you're probably never going to see the original on any other console other than Windows PC and Xbox 360/Future Xbox's (Possibly).

This is why I just got ME2 (and will get ME3) on the Xbox 360 so I can "complete" the series and take advantage of the (limited) character import from game to game.

Did anyone else receive another copy from EA?
Received a second copy today and I looked at the billing area on my account and it isn't showing up.
Hopefully I did not get charged for it

WIth that digital comic too, you can still get the same decisions from ME1. I have ME2 on 360 and really cant stand ME1 on 360. I may just buy the comic and play thru ME1 on PC.

ME1 on PC has alot better squad controls. Like you are actually able to tell them where to go like in Mass Effect 2.
The comic only offers a few choices out of a ton that actually carry over.
Hmmmm, that sounds kinda disappointing. Im gonna have to go through ME1 again I guess and see, then grab ME2 off Steam hopefully during this Summer Sale coming up.

I did as well and thought it was odd. Was worried that I got charged twice as well, but that didn't seem to be the case. So it seems I have a free copy to give to a friend or if I'm feeling mean, as a coaster (jk).
