Mass Effect 2 , How to get Inferno Armor DLC ?

I want to retrieve the inferno armor dlc at bioware.net but it tells me that I must make sure I redeem it on the email account that my gamertag is linked with. The thing is, my gamertag is linked to a ea account which has a different email than my windows live id account I use for the gamertag. Can I redeem it with my ea account even though it's not the same email as my windows live ID?

I don't think the email address matters, I have my Live ID and EA account on different emails and it worked fine when I used my Cerberus card. I'm pretty sure it just matters that you gamertag is linked to it.

Oh sorry, I made it sound as if it didn't work. I never tried to redeem it because seeing that notice made me uncertain.
