Mass Effect: Can you re-spend talent points?

I'm kinda new to this type of gaming and after 6hrs into the game I realized I should be a bit more cautious about where I spend my precious talent points. Is there a way to remove them and be able to use them in a different way? This question goes for all of my crew as well as my Shepard. Hopefully what I'm asking makes sense, I'm not to sure how to explain it :$

You can only remove them once you spend them, after you save and move characters, they are stuck there.

Only thing you can do is revert back to another save.
