Master Chief or Samus?

So who do you think would win a fight and why, Master Chief or Samus? This could be a cool discussion. I say Samus because she can go super fast when in morph mode and he never runs out of ammo. She also has better weapons like that weapon that shoots five missles of ice instead some of the more regular weapons used by Master Chief. She also has those sensors in her HUD for her to better see the Master Chief. Well, voice your opinion.
 
Samus. I'm going with their ultimate enemies. The flood were stupid ass zombies. Metroids, on the the other hand, can kick some serious ass. If Samus can beat them, then MC doesn't stand a chance.
 
I'm going to Samus because she's been at this longer. Master Chief is still a rookie. I bet even the doom marine could kick his ass.
 
Tromack, great way to compare an a pop rock to a machine gun. The flood were not their ultimate enemies. In a massve pack the flood were hard, but not alone.
 
I like MC and all but Samus would own him, he would run out of ammo sooner or later, she would just keep plugging away at him from a distance. So unless MC breaks out with a gun butt he is SOL

And in a massive pack, the metroids would still crush them. One metroid is worth at least 100 full slize flood. And Samus has killed how many of them?

I meant is the flood is no match for anyone, how would Samus deal with some elites or a brute, you know a real "ultimate enemy"
 
I think that Master Chief would win, with his armor, strenght, and shield. He could just walk up to samus and kick her ass. But i have to say that this would be the best match-up of any two gaming characters.

Uh, Samus' wave beam would take the shield down in one shot. After that a few missiles would finish MC off tout suite.
 
Anyone who's read Fall of Reach would know that Master Chief, or many of the other Spartans, would probably kick Samus's ass. Also, Samus really hasn't been at it longer seeing as how MC was a designed super soldier for nearly his entire life, hell he was killing rebels, space pirates, and aliens on covert ops at like age 16. Samus may have a little more firepower, but I'd say MC is quicker and a master at adapting, so it would likely come down to hand to hand, close combat where MC would easily own her. Does she even have a melee manuever? Or more to the point doesn't she only really has one free hand to fight with?

Ha, I thought you meant Doom Troopers... the sidescrolling shooter from the SNES/Genesis days. If that were the case, I'd say the Doom Trooper has it, 'cause those guys were f*ckin nuts

It wouldn't even take the shield down, it would just hit him through it.
 
Samus would kick MC ass.
Her suite is far superior to MC's and she has much better weapons. And with all the sensors Samus has in her suite MC won't be to hard to find.

MC is only a soldier. Samus on the other hand is the best Bounty Hunter in the galaxy. Samus is hired to bring in people like MC.

It would be a good match, but Samus would win in the end.

As for melee attacks, no Samus doesn't have any curently. and she only has one free hand, but keep in mind her other hand could be used as a club. Tha would do alot more damage then a fist.
 
Samus vs. Master Chief?

You may as well have said Wonder Woman vs. Gary Coleman. It's not even close.

Samus's weaponry is far more advanced, she can take A LOT more damage, she's much faster, and more agile. I think Master Chief is cool (and Halo is a better game than Metroid Prime IMO) but he would get his ass handed to himself.
 
MC's got Cortana... She could hack into Samus' suit and render it inoperable.

Besides, MC is defending Earth, while Samus is off in fictional space for a quick buck. Why would anyone want Chief to lose. :wink:

Didn't you play the original Metroid? Samus can kick just as much ass in her skivvies. Rendering her suit inoperative would just make her angry and just as dangerous.

No not technically, but he might as well be. And I agree that game was pretty bad.
 
I'm guessing you mean Tex from Red vs. Blue.

We know MC is a guy from the Halo novels/ story page/ hearing his voice in cutscenes in the game.
 
Lol, this is one of those GameFaq polls. 1. Samus has 10 energy tanks. 2. Lock on ability. 3.She also has a scan visor, and hack MC's suit. 4.Infinite ammo, and missiles. 5. Power bomb. 6.Double Jump. 7.Can surivive in practically any environment. 8.Master Chief would get killed if it was 6 elites vs. 1. 6 space pirates vs. 1 Samus, Samus would win. The End: Samus hands Master Chief's ass to him, makes him take off his gay helmet, and makes him wear his ass as a hat. Lol. I played Halo too. Halo's single player wasn't as good as Prime's, but the multiplayer kicked ass. Hence, Halo wins on what is the better game.

I don't hate Metroid Prime, but I also don't think it's as good as most ppl proclaim it to be. I mean, I would definitely pick it up for something like $20 to $30. Also, that'd be a very good match. Although, I wanna say Samus would probably win, it's possible that Cortana could hack into Samus' suit like someone suggested previously.
