Ok heres the deal, my buddy was wanting a Xbox 360 for Xmas and his wife ended up buying a Wii instead. Anyways he was asking me what games were good for the Wii, well I have no freaking clue. He enjoyed playing Gears of War, Army of Two, R6V2 (all xbox 360). So I guess he basicly likes shooters for the most part. But I know he'll play other games that are not shooters. So what are some good mature rated games for the Wii (if there are any)?

Personally, I've liked Resident Evil 4, Madworld, No More Heroes, Bully, Okami...I know some of those are ports but they are good on it. The shooters like COD 4 reflex, the Conduit, COD: World at War are kind of mixed...some like them and some don't. I haven't played House of the Dead Overkill, Dead Space Extraction, Metroid Prime trilogy, or Resident Evil Darkside Chronicles but have heard good things. Those are just a few I guess.

(actually I think Okami and Bully are probably rated Teen)

Af few good mature Wii titles are Madworld, No More Heroes, the Resident Evil games, House of the Dead Overkill (2 & 3 are also good), Dead Space : Extraction, also the Call of Duty games that are on the Wii take some getting used to but if he doesnt have another system they are still playable and the one that just came out has 10 players online.

the conduit is a decent shooter (though not rated mature)
modern warfare reflex
call of duty world at war
no more hero's
house of the dead overkill

Wow, I never knew there were so many mature titles on the Wii. I will pass these along to him, thank you guys very much for your input!

Cursed Mountain is supposed to be pretty decent, and can be had for under $20.

Ju-On: The Grudge is also M-rated I believe, though not sure how good of a game it is.

I am, and I will share my knowledge in regards to this: It's insanely awful.

I had a blast with Dead Space: Extraction, it felt exactly like the kind of game the original Dead Space was, although some would argue that being on-rails makes the Wii game not as good, I would argue that it kinda makes it better; since the narrative is so vital to driving the story and keeping players interested, all you really want to do is get to the next part, the next part, the next part, etc... it's really of little to no consequence that you can't stop and "take in" the environment for as long as you want.

I'm surprised MadWorld wasn't mentioned, that one's M, too. I hated it. I thought it was pretty fun for the first 5 minutes but the game never changed. Most people probably liked it, but I thought it was just ugly on my HD TV. Which remains one of the main reasons my Wii collects dust. The other being I haven't been interested in any Wii games since Brawl released.

If you had bothered to read...next two posts after OP lists Madworld. Anyhow, seems all have listed the good Mature titles as is.

imho theres no point of spending any money on the wii for shooters, all the awesome shooters are on the 360/Ps3. i say buy a 360, sell the wii, and spend your money on decent games you will time and time again and on games you will not regret buying.

this is basically what i did, i got a wii, but didnt like any of the games so on boxing day i bought a 360 lol. now i will never touch the wii ever again (no reason to really)

I didn't see mention of

And while I saw No More Heroes mentioned, don't forget that this drops next week.
