Is it just me, or does this look like another spark for what little remains of teh McCain campaign just went out. Perhap J-Mac can blame his upcoming loss on this chick.

You could tell this shit was fake by reading her description of the incident. I called BS when I saw "mad at bumper sticker), and then her description of the attacker:

I imagine even the slowest donut-scarfer on the force would have noticed the "bruising" as a layer of make-up as opposed to busted blood vessels below the skin.

A brief look at this page shows one person saying that it was the Republican Party's fault, and 100% of those one people were obviously joking. The rest are either calling her batshit insane or just making jokes about this, period.

The picture looked so freaking fake, definitely not what a black-eye looks like... I looks like make-up, combined with the lack of any redness in that eye. I called that from the moment I saw her "injury photo."

I actually am deeply offend by the "attacked by a dark skinned guy" comments. I knew this was a hoax as soon as she said a black guy carved a B into her face. Uhhh, sorry to say but black people usually dont carve things into peoples faces.....white people do.

And seeing how white women used to say this shit all the time and they would kill the black guy without a trail. It really kinda pisses me off that we are still the scape coat for crimes.

Its bullshit and goes on so much today its disgusting. I along with everyone of my friends have been arrested and detained for completely random crimes that we had no hope of committing simply because we fit the profile of "tall black guy."

The funniest time was when my 6 foot 8 friend was arrested and detained for an entire 3 day weekend because he matched the profile of a guy who just robbed a Micky D's. When they found the actually culprit he was a 5 foot 9 white guy from the burbs.

But for you guys who didnt grow up in the ghetto, when they dont have a description of a felon it defaults to tall black guy and pretty much anyone can be arrested and held.

I was aressted one time because I was jogging. The cop said I looked like I was running away from a crime.

Not to lessen your life experience of being discriminated against because you happen to be black, but do white people REALLY carve things in victims' faces? C'mon now, petty thieves, as a general rule, don't carve shit into faces regardless of their skin color or background. Mugging is about quick in, quick out, take the money and run. Actually, that's pretty much the m.o. for the vast majority of crime.

Labeling white people as body mutilators really isn't helping your argument, is it? If I were to say that black criminals would just prefer to shoot you in the head instead of mutilate you, wouldn't that be rather offensive?

Here's the thing about race relations; they're better than they were in the Jim Crow era, but not perfect. Not even close. Never gonna be. But we can try. So we should be happy, in a way, that there was police scrutiny here, which isn't something you would have expected in the past. It doesn't mean racism is gone, but a large portion of society has either changing culture over time, or the bureaucratic necessity of police work to thank, that helped call bullshit on this woman's racist story.

It's like that foolish idea people seem to think that if Obama is elected, that's an indicator that racism is dead. Well, symbolically, it can't get much more powerful than that. But when you're accustomed to being subtly denied service, turned down for rent/loans/car purchases, or being pulled over for being the wrong race in the wrong neighborhood, symbolism doesn't mean a fucking thing.

So this incident of white hegemony not having the pull it used to is something to be pleased about, but recognize there's more work to be done. Same with Obama being elected. You don't pour the concrete foundation of a house, stand back and admire it with pride, and say to yourself "that's a beautiful house!" and begin to move your shit in and call the cable company, right? Well, these incidents are like the wood for the framework and the insulation arriving. Good news, yes - but there's plenty of work to be done in the future.

Would it be offensive maybe but more importantly that would be accurate. I mean I am being completely honest and serious. As wrong and stupid as it sounds...it is very true that a black person would shoot you in the face or stab you but will not carve anything into your body.

I know this seems like a generalization and trust me I am trying my hardest to find data to back this up but as a whole you will rarely find a black person who will dismember or slice up anybody.

Us blacks are a very squeamish people and we simply dont do that.

I am trying to find some stats to back this up but all I can come up with is the over 90% of serial killers are white males. Which doesnt really prove my point. But it does prove you white folks are crazy as hell. :lol:

I will look more and provide a better answer later.

EDIT: Also I admit that this might just be a old stereotype of white people the general thought is that if its a petty crime its most likely a black person. But if its a horrific gory crime with bodies being cut up....its a white person without a doubt.

Remember how surprised everyone was when the sniper serial killers where found out to be black when even the FBI profiled their pictures as a white middle age male?

I'm Irish. My ancestors came to America as indentured servants. In the 1800's a lot of the men in my family were drafted out of New York to fight in the Civil War. My Great grandfather was drafted and killed in WWI. My grandfather was drafted in WWII and barely survived. My dad was a factory worker for 28 years before he lost his job when the plant closed. I live in a family which makes less than $50,000 a year combined income, and I am the first one to finish college.

What I'm saying is.....If I were going to carve a letter into someone's face, it would be an actual letter. At least 3 paragraphs and a closing, you know?
