Or something like that. Chicken strips, Chicken selects, chicken something. I just caught this on TV, it's some week in February and it's from 11am to 2pm every day that week. Please post if you have more information.

I don't think this is in New Orleans only. I just saw a commercial here in Fresno, CA about the free Chicken Selects items. I know what I'll be eating come Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. ^_^
 
you see, you cant actually eat at mcdonalds, because they dont serve food.

Now, if you are in the market for someone to crap in your mouth, then you've come to the right place.

Right here. Before seeing that movie, I think I had eaten 2 Big Macs in my entire life. After that movie, I've probably had 30 or so.

That Ed Gorsky just made them look so delicious!
 
I've had them a few times, when I had some buy-one-get-one coupons. They're not bad. They're not the best chicken strips I've had. But the regular price is exceedingly expensive, I wouldn't buy them for full price.

Went by McD's a couple weeks ago, and they had a thing on their board saying '4 Nuggets 99 Cents.' Or you could get 10 for 2.99, as on the menu board. I was like, Hmm, 12 for less than the price of 10, no-brainer.

emember when the McNugget ratio went out of wack when they introduced the dollar menu. A six pack of McNuggets use to cost $2. But they introduced the 4-pack of McNuggets for $1. So you could get two four packs for $2. Yet the six pack was still $2 instead of $1.50.

Why do I still remember that.

Nah, it's close, but special sauce has more vinegar or something... I hate Big Macs, but love dbl cheeseburgers and dbl QPC!
 
I just saw the commercial, on Comedy Central I think. And the sign the guy is standing in front of says "Chicken Strip" as in singular. If they just want you to try it, they're not going to give you a whole meal.

KFC did this with their popcorn chicken a few years back... now if only BK would do this with there BK BIG FISH!

in Price Utah.. on monday's Big Macs are 99 cents.. they rule... but really free chicken selects? hmm i guess i'll have to go check it out ..

You guys are right. I work at McDs and they do these promotions some times where they would give out 1 strip to people who asked for them.

And the Big Mac sauce is a bunch of stuff mixed together. It has some kind of dressing, pickels, onions, mayo I think and some other ingrediants. I read the label one time, but I don't remember what the other stuff is.

I don't think I want to know the ingredients for any item at a fast food place.
 
Mcchicken sandwich is only a dolla, not bad if you can order it without the 6oz. of mayo they glob on it.

Better yet! Put your free chicken strip on the sandwich and use the dipping sauce for a premium double chicken sandwich!
 
the way it works here is as you go up to the drive thru someone will actually present you with one strip and a choice of sauce,.. but since they're outside I'd assume it's a cold and probably old strip
 
I'll be taking advantage of this, but I prefer Arby's chicken fingers as far as fast food chicken strips/fingers/nuggets/whatever are concerned. Don't care much for the Selects.
 
BIG MAC™ Special Sauce
Ingredients:

1/4 cup KRAFT Miracle Whip
1/4 cup mayonnaise
2 Tablespoons,heaping, WISHBONE deluxe french salad dressing (the orange stuff)
1/2 Tablespoon HEINZ sweet relish
2 teaspoons, heaping, VLASIC dill pickle relish (Heinz dill relish also works)
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon dried, minced onion
1 teaspoon white vinegar
1 teaspoon ketchup
1/8 teaspoon salt

Mix everything very well in a small container. There better be no streaks! Microwave 25 seconds, and stir well again. Cover, and refrigerate at LEAST 1 hour before using.( to allow all of the flavors to "meld". ) Makes nearly 1 cup...enough for about 8 Big Macs™.

It's not. You people must have 75% dead taste buds if you think they are the same thing. They are similar in composition, but very unique tastes. I should know. I like Thousand Island, I hate Special Sauce. If your tastebuds are that dead, try a side by side taste comparison sometime. Larsin posted something that is probably pretty close to the real thing.

I never eat Thousand Island on salads, so I don't really know. I had just heard that it was Thousand Island they used.
