Monopoly is back at McDonald's.

Use this free code I6L6V4N4T10 when you register for the online game and to be entered for the chance to win $25,000 before the In-Store game launches October 5th!

Get a Game Piece (consisting of two (2) MONOPOLY Game Stamps [each a "Game Stamp"]) by visiting a participating McDonald's restaurant in the Domestic Territory and purchasing one of the following food items (where available) contained in specially-marked packaging: Medium Fountain Drinks; Medium and Large Hot McCafé® beverages; Medium and Large Cold McCafé® beverages including Smoothies and Frappés (excludes McCafé® Shakes); Hash Browns; Big Mac®; 10-piece Chicken McNuggets®, McGriddles®, and Filet-O-Fish®. Individuals who purchase 20-piece Chicken McNuggets® or Large Fries specially-marked packaging will receive two (2) Game Pieces.

A Participant can request a Game Piece without buying a food item at a participating McDonald’s location by mailing a legibly handwritten, self-addressed, stamped envelope (“SASE”) with sufficient postage and a return address, including: (first and last name, street address, city, state, and zip or postal code) to: 2010 MONOPOLY Game at McDonald’s Game Piece Request, P.O. Box 49229, Strongsville, OH 44149-0229. DO NOT SEND ANY WINNING GAME STAMPS, COMMENTS OR QUESTIONS TO THIS ADDRESS. Two (2) Game Pieces (a total of four (4) Game Stamps) will be mailed in response to each mail-in request that complies with the requirements of these Official Rules, while supplies last.

Kind of weird... It says it is open for US, Canada and other places, but you can only make an account if you are in the US... I'm going to try to contact them about that at some point.

If you change the address to .ca it says the site won't be ready until Sept 28th. Looks like us Canadians have to wait a few more days to use the code and resister.

The best prize you can win instantly is a 2011 Shelby Mustang. I always disliked the fact they pay the million dollars in 20 year $50,000 installments.

That's always my biggest complaint when getting a millon dollars for free too.

That's the thing though you essentially aren't going to ever have a million total after inflation & taxes. McDonald's can afford to pay a lump sum.

I thought they have not done that for a few years now? I remember maybe 10-11 years ago when my dad owned a newspaper route that we always loved McDonalds Monopoly time; that Saturday night my brother and I would go through each of the papers and take the inserts out, then the next day peel them all and see our haul :). Think we had so many of the free food tickets that we could not possibly want to use them all so before they expired ended up giving quite a few away to friends. Good times, good times.

(And yes, I know depriving every potential customer of their McDonalds Monopoly insert is probably scummy but in my defense I was like 12-13 at the time. Not saying I wouldn't do it again today if I had the chance through lol)

lol youd be set for life with that. 50g a year is more than most people make, and for 20 years..supplement that with a job..youre set.

Went to mcdonalds today with a friend and we started playing. We filled almost everything common up already and now are going to be looking for the rares. This year kinda sucks for this contest, but I'll hope for the best.

At first when I peeled the game pieces, I was having trouble peeling the game piece that has sticker in it. After 20 minutes, lo and beho, there's a pouch on the game board for each game piece. LOL!
 
Ah, and so it begins once again. Looking forward to mostly the potential free food stamps. That being said, wouldnt mind getting the rare large prize pieces either
 
I eat healthy and exercise throughout the year for this event in particular. I expect to get many of the same pieces, so I expect to trade them with some of you. :)

I wonder if this event is sponsored by angioplasty specialists nationwide?

Not to burst everyone's bubble, but I saw one of the 2 million dollar prizes today... The kid that won down here at the Univ. of Arizona was about 3 ahead of me in line, and I didn't believe him when he yelled it in the place, but he showed the goods and both Blue spots were in the same pull of a large fries (2 pull tabs with 2 spots each).... just to give everyone a heads up.... so pissed i was running late to lunch today! LOL
