Mechassault for the DS. Screenshots & Info!

Haven't heard anything about this game until today.
This makes the second Microsoft franchise(Age of Empires) to appear on the DS.
This is getting interesting now.....

I'm not sure that I would play MechAssault on the DS, but hopefully it turns out well. Now what Microsoft really needs to bring over is the Myth series. That would be a perfect fit for the stylus control scheme.

Actually, this is the third Microsoft-owned franchise to hit the DS, the first being Zoo Tycoon and the second being Age of Empires.

Anyways, it says that it's being developed by Backbone, the same folks behind Age of Empires DS. If this one is good, then at least it will prove that AoEDS was not just some fluke.
