So I turned on my 360 today and went to set up my soundtracks and the system is unable to find my xbox. I have the network set up correctly I have been able to use the custom soundtracks from my comp before, I have windows media player 11, also I am on a wireless network, but I know the connection is working because I can get on xbox live fine. Does anyone have any insight to my problem.

Yeah, looks like Zune does the job now. I still use WMP11 for mine, but I checked the Zune package, and it looks almost identical. (And it's the link on the Xbox site now.)

I'd give that a try.

Go to computers in the last blade and disconnect your computer .
Then go to the blue blade to pictures , it should let you look at any pictures in your "My Pictures" folder .

It doesnt even have my comp there'

I would bet that since you already had it working, this won't help. But, in WMP11, try going to:

Tools > Options > Library > Configure Sharing

Make sure your Xbox 360 is listed, and make sure you have sharing specified. (Make sure the 360 is on.)

And have you tried doing the "Connection Test" on the 360 console itself? (Can't remember off-hand what the actual name of it is.)

Again, this probably won't help your problem, but it never hurts to check. If this thread doesn't help you, I'd call Microsoft and see if they can give you a solution.

I have run that test more times that I can count today always fails at pc selection, I called xbox and after 2 and a half hours they had nothing for me

Do you guys think that this may have to do with the system update? the reason I ask is because my friend is having the same exact problem and it started around the last update......except I use a wireless router and he uses a wired.

I wish I could help you. I have been having problems since Dec. I have done 2 reinstalls and even bought a new router with no avail. Mine used to work but now????

Didn't want to start a NEW thread, but I enabled Media Connect on WMP11, and it brings my PC to a crawl basically. I have a somewhat older PC, but I think it's a Pentium 2.2 GHZ with 1GIG RAM.

I'm sharing about 200GB files from a external HDD. Task Manager usually shows my WMP process using a lot of memory/resources.

Any suggestions? DO I just need a new PC? I have it disabled now...but I would like to use it again, but I cannot have my PC slowing down so much.
