I was just browsing through Amazon and came across this newly released Mega Man tribute book being published by Udon. It sounds like a really cool book for Mega Man fans out there

Huge fan of the series but i just cant justify spending that much on a coffee table book unless the book became a coffee table.

[quote name='GreenSpark']The link you posted goes to the Udon store, which shows they have a hardcover edition with a slightly different cover than the one on Amazon and at a lot higher price of $79.99 shipping on 8/15. Just letting people know in case they want the Udon store exclusive HC edition as the one on Amazon says paperback.

Oops sorry about that. I went to Udon's site to get the description but i guess I absent-mindedly used their link too. Should be fixed now

Personally, I'm glad you did make that error as I would have never known about the Udon store exclusive for this or any of the other art books they created. Have to have the LE always if one's available, so that's the one I pre-ordered last night, thanks!;)

Great book! Buy it now!

It will only go up in value as its the last thing Megaman related to EVER be released by Capcom! :p

.

I have a piece in this, its the one featured second down on the back of the book. I should check out BN see if they received a copy.

I'm saving this page...I'm going to get it as soon as I can afford it...Hell I just might buy it earlier...Love the Blue Bomber!! And Capcom is a POS for killing off the series (basically that's what they're doing now).

very cool!

Sweet Gosha! I'll look out for your entry! My brother has a piece in this too! Might have to cancel the hardbound and get the paperback since money's going to be tight this week. ^_^:

Yeah I'm still waiting to get a copy of the book. Each artist is supposed to get a copy of the HB version. I'll probably check it out at the Udon booth at PAX if I don't get it by then.

Seems like the hardcover edition is exclusive to their store.... you think I have any hope of finding one a few months from now?

I really would love to get a hardcover copy of this but cash is tight (tuition due in a week :hot: ), I've got the amazon credit for the paperpback though..... decisions decisions. Gonna be upset if I miss out on this entirely, especially seeing that a member has work in it.

a friend of mine has their artwork in this book, going to buy it for sure.

Wow! A Udon book that snuck under my radar and is actually releasing early? Will wonders never cease? Thanks OP! :D

Yeah, one is soft the other hard, each with different art. As with other Udon books though, the softcover is of good enough quality that I don't think it's worth paying the extra money for it to be hardback.

Would you say that even for a diehard megaman fan? if there was some proof that it was worth $100 price tag i would go for it besides the fact it is limited edition and a different cover. i don't want to blindly throw my money towards something i don't find worth it just because i love megaman, I'm also unfamilar with UDON and its products.

How did you get the art published in it? Was there a contest or something?

if the books were actually numbered or came with some kind of certificate i would probably get one...but being "limited" without any sort of physical proof kinda stinks

i did get the paperback one though, thanks op!
