Megaman 9 Footage

It would be nicer without all those words scrolling through the video, blocking much of it. But I guess that's Niconico for ya'.
 
I don't know how I feel about this. I understand the 8 bit thing is totally fan service, which is awesome. I just think a 16bit version would have been better.

Oh well. New Mega Man FTW ^_^

It's nice that they are combining all the art styles of the megaman games according to the video.

Like they are using the ladders of MM1, some platforms from 4 (or close to it anyway) in the first level they showed. In the second level it is just fucking Snake man's stage. I am loving it :cool:.

Seeing that it looks 8 bit is FANTASTIC news. I can't stress this enough. Most definitely will be picking it up when it's available.
 
Eh.. looks like old megaman.

Not a good thing imo. Could have at least used 16 bit, preferably 32.

This is one of those cases where I think graphics will take away from the gameplay.

At this point I think there have been more 16/32 bit graphic Mega Man games than 8-bit Mega Man. I'm stoked about the return to 8bit.

This isn't even fan service. It's creator service. Inafune has said he was making the game because he wanted to make it.. Basically, the ultimate original-style Mega Man game.

- Coming to PSN and XBL too
- Online ranking and leaderboards
- MM 1 and 2 coming to Wii

I do like going back to 8-bit sprites and designs, but I hate the simplicity of the backgrounds. It looks worse than the later MM nes games. The music in the new trailer though is amazing. Online leader boards put this game as a must buy for me.
