Megaman X Collection $19.99
I got this for 5 bucks at a blockbuster clearance
This is the X Collection. The X Collection is not on sale at blockbuster. Maybe you mean the Anniversary Collection.

I've been waiting on this one; its one of those games I always forget about, then see it in the store, and then realize I don't want to pay 30 clams for it. I want the GC version (wavebird comfort), so I think I'll head out to EB. Or just ebay it...

I have PSone MMX4 already and have played SNES MMX, am I missing much or should I go for the anniversary collection for the cube since I don't actually own a PS2?
did they fix the reversed "a" and "b" button config for the GC in this collection?
Yeah, I heard they fixed that stupid switch of A and B. I got the PS2 Anniversary Collection for that reason (since the GC one was messed up with that weird switch), and since I already had one on PS2, I decided to get X Collection on PS2, too. I got it a while back with that fake Best Buy coupon (save $10 off of $30 of more).
Damn it, and I finally picked up the GCN X Collection two weeks ago. -_-
If you didn't save the receipt, you probably don't belong on this site... simply purchase the game again, and return it with the original receipt to recover your lost funds. Of course... the difference should only be around $10 ;)
eh, i heard it wasn't a great port. and the only x games worth playing a 1, 2, 3, and 8. and I already have em
MMX4 is by far the most replayed game I own. Even though I've beaten it countless times, it's always fun to boot up. I touche don this in another topic when I said please let MMX8 be the last of the X series. They have proven they can't create any other robot master names. Tornado Tonion? Optic Sunflower? Metal Shark Player? The entire Death Metal Americanized Maverick names in X5? Exactly...

I just my bestbuy at Mount Laurel, NJ, and they had none. Not even a placeholder on the shelf for it.
I passed because I already 'have' all 6 games... use your thinking cap and it will be obvious.
So do I, and I still bought this collection twice over just like the Anniversary Collection. :D My thinking cap is overruled by Mega Man fanboyism.

...*runs away*

Ah well...no Gamestop near me has the PS2 version in stock...I want to buy it from there since I still have some credit left over.
Would you guys say this has more replay value then the anniversary collection?
I think so... there's so much to find in these games due to the upgrades, there's the secrets like the shoryuken in MMX2 and the hadoken in MMX1, and IIRC, there's multiple endings in MMX5. At $20 though, this should be a no-brainer.
As a side note, I believe TRU is clearancing them for $15, though much harder to find than at GS/EB.
I think thats only the GCN version... I'll probably get the PS2 version since the buttons are closer to the old SNES controller's.

The X4, X5 and X6 games aren't bad ports. They aren't good, because the games sucked to begin with. But it would be nice for me to finally own MMX3, the one game I'm missing from the collection.

I'm torn between getting the PS2 or GCN version... but I wish they'd bring out an uber-sweet version on Xbox like they did for MMAC.

Uber-sweet? What did they do to the XB version that makes it better?

Hmm... perhaps I should pick this up. I still need Anniversary Collection as well.

I'm just wondering which version I should get, I was thinking of getting the Gamecube ones, but it might be nicer to have nothing but Mega Man for PS2 (the other X games for the PS2 and these two games.)

The Gamecube's "A" and "B" buttons are reversed in the GCN version of Anniversary Collection, so I would go for the PS2 versions. I still need to find a cheap copy of the PS2 version so I can dump the one I have.
