The PSN cards are working fine now, right? I heard stories of early buyers having problems getting the cards accepted online.
Yeah, I was the one who wrote a lengthy story about the problems I had with the cards (I was the one who took that one picture at Meijer with the PSN Cards, that PS3 Fanboy, Kotaku, and other sites posted).
With the PSN Cards, there's a few things you have to do to get them to work (I was on the phone with PSN Support for a while):
If you are using the PS Store for the PC (which I recommend for redeeming):
-Clear your internet browser cache (because it sometimes stores previous information and can conflict with your PSN Card)
-Remove the cookies tied to store.playstation.com
-Enter the PSN Card under Account Management -> Redeem Promotion Code/PlayStation Network Card
If you are using the PS Store on the PS3 (I have not tested, but should work):
-Go to the internet browser.
-Once you are on, go to options, have the cache and cookies removed.
-Go to the PS Store or Account Management to redeem card.
The guy I talked to (one of the higher ups on PSN, I have his direct phone # if anyone runs into issues) said I was one of the first to use it, and SCEA wasn't completely aware of these issues, so at least they know what to do. That's why the cards aren't at every retailer yet. However, the system seems to be getting much better now overall.
