I'm down with a lower price, I wasn't exactly gnawing at the bit to get this game (even though it looks great).

Strange, the image you accidentally used for the game is Dreamcast's Age of Empires II (that even came out for the DC?).

That always happens with games in EB's database, as some unrelated old games' boxart shows up usually if there's nothing for the game you're linking to.

I'll get it at $20. The game looked fun on PSP/PS2, but the Wii is a logical control option for this sort of game.

Nice Price. You can't go wrong with a budget title on the Wii. Isn't this the first $20 game for the Wii at release?

i expect that that's just a mistake. from what i heard, this game will cost 30 dollars and come out on june 26th.

as long as the reviews aren't horrible, i will buy this game.

For what it's worth..

Apparently the Ant Bully, Happy Feet, Billy/Mandy, etc drops were errors and were fixed. MMR was in that list as well, but it has remained 19.99 new/14.99 used, and apparently will launch at the 20/15 point.

I guarantee you, that information is incorrect.
Why the delay? :(
Meh, who cares, for $20 bucks I can wait a little bit longer, will definitely be picking this one up too.

damn and i just picked up the version on psp from tru...any ideas what i should do (buy wii or return psp verion)?

btw, a heads-up on the deal--get a $10 off with new gco account (i know its been said, but hey it doesn't hurt to help..)

It's been officially confirmed, finally, and now will come out the same day as Halo 3, but at 1/3rd the cost.

Hooray for budget-priced software! And quality stuff at that. This looks fun for a while, a good break from the action/platofrming insanity that will be hitting consoles this fall.

I've had this preordered from Buy.com for, what, two months now? For $9 shipped, I can wait another month. GCO FTW.

i'm definitly going to buy this game. i'm a sucker for these types of games. and i'm happy to see the low price. i'd like there to be a lot more 20 or 30 dollar games. not every game is long enough and great enough to be worth 50 dollars.

but for the game i'm just hoping the control is fun and that the puzzles have a good level of difficulty.

Same here - I hope it goes through. And D'OH on yet another delay. It's not like there's any coding or even localization left to do as it has been out for so long in Europe. Wierd...

i'm getting excited about this one. i'm going to go in right after work on tuesday and buy it first thing. this should be the perfect game to transition me from metroid prime to smash brothers.

i'm hoping we start getting more reviews on it this week.
i'm going to give in and pick this up after work tomorrow. anyone else?
Doubt it. Most places are listing the game as not coming out this week. Some say maybe in a few weeks and others say as late as the end of November.

what the hell. you're right. i went and checked eb's site and they've got it delayed to 10/16. this would have been the perfect title to hold me over until the holiday games start rolling in.
Play gave the game a 3.0, and they are (to some people) notorious for giving high scores to bad games.
i don't know what kind of crack they're smokin. gamestats has this averaged at 8.1. this won't be a triple a title. but it should be a lot of fun.

any idea what play hated about the game?

And that somehow offsets all of the good scores, like GameSpot's 8.5, it's been getting?

Since Play = Maxim in the reviews credibility department, it makes me more confident about the game, if anything. "Play gave Overlord a 9, so they're probably wildly off base here, too."
This is supposed to be out this week. Anyone pick it up?
I'm completely confused on this game. I looked it up earlier this week on Gamestop's site and it was showing a release date of next week. I checked Best Buy and Walmart's sites as well and the release dates were all over the board.

Gamestop is now showing the game as being out, but Best Buy is showing 11/27/07!!

I'm going to be near a GameStop, Best Buy, and Target this afternoon so I'll see if I can find it somewhere.

I'm thinking that the retailers are just confused as the devs have this week as the release week. Could still change like it has for the past five months.

yea, i was going to call gamestop and see if the site is correct or not. i'll probubly just pick it up when i pick up zack and wiki if it is in fact out. for now, i've been playing the hell out of the lost levels, so i can wait at least a little while.

just got the game from buy.com, it was shipped yesterday... So far it's a pretty cool game, kind hard with the remote to beat the par times so I would recommend getting the classic controller if you are about high scores.

Was that a GCO preorder from buy.com? Because I did that several months ago and was wondering if it would ever go through.

yup, got it for like $10 or so when someone here posted the deal :)
My $9 Buy.com MMR finally shipped today. Its been so long...
Did you get an email about that or did you have to log in to check it? I don't have an email and I'm not sure I can even find the info to check it. I did check on it 2 months ago or so and it was still valid then, so I should be OK. I just wish I'd get that shipment email at least.
