Metal Arms XB/GC/PS2 $9.99 @ bestbuy.com

This game was easily worth it for me when I got it for $29 last year around this time. If you need a new game to play, you can't go wrong with this.

I so wanna get this game, but alas, I cannot, I promised myself not to buy any games for another 3 months. June will be a busy month though :)

I prefer the GCN version, but I haven't heard any problems with the XBox version either.

XBox version has some screen tearing, and I've heard that the GC version does not have that problem. You can count on the PS2 version to look worse than the other 2 versions, and I've heard the controls don't feel as solid on PS2 either (a different dev team ported the game to PS2 than worked on the Xbox/GC versions).

I believe it was only the gamecube version that was $9.99 for the last couple of months.

No, I think all three versions have been 10 bucks at BB for a while now; but IIRC it's been sold out online lately. It isn't hard to find copies of all three versions in store (PS2 is easiest to find, it seems), but nice to see them restock it online.

I overpaid for my copy ($15) once I couldn't find it in the stores anymore. Why were there no Metal Arms around for a while, and now there are so many? (hmmm....)

It does. It's only occasionally distracting, and would probably be even more noticeable on a big tv.

I picked up Metal Arms about a week ago for $4.99 after using that $5 off coupon that BB mailed out.

It's really fun, definetly worth the money... I got the Xbox version and I must admit the screen tearing bothers me quite a bit because it rears its' ugly head quite often. I got a 34 inch 16:9 HDTV so that doesn't help either.

The PS2 version sucks graphically and they took out the 4-player multiplayer feature, it's only 2-players (hardware limitations?). Maybe I should have gotten the Cube verison.

I also picked this up at 5 dollars with the BB coupon. Easily worth 5 dollars and I could have seen myself picking this up for the 20 dollars it retails for elsewhere. I have the XBox version and I dont notice the screen tear, but then again, I never really paid attention to the Halo 2 stutters either. Great third person shooter with platforming elements, and I believe its worth 7.50 at FYE, so if you dont like it, its got some trade in value (even though FYE kinda sucks).
