METAL GEAR AC!D looks like it is going to melt my butter

im a huge metal gear fan, but I will wait on this one. It is nothing like the others. I don't mind the card-based thing but I'm not sure it will be heavy on story like the others.

looks pretty good, but it helps that it doesnt need quite as robust an engine as the other mgs games have due to the nature of the gameplay. still, quite interesting. too bad its on such a shoddy handheld that will either not boot up, have dead pixels, or shoot the disc out while your playing. this type of game really should be on the DS, keeping the cards and play screens seperate and alowing you to reorganize, rearrange, and choose the cards by touch rather than all that scrolling and having it take up half the screen. if they made it for DS im sure i would pick it up, cause it does look sweet though...

I can only laugh at that comment

straight from the mouth of a nintendo fanboy.

stupid comment!
I want this but I probably won't have it for a long time because I am going to wait at least 6 months to get a PSP after it hits US shores :p
Me too :( And waiting for the DS to drop too, which will also be a long time,.

Anyway that game looks really cool... Im digging the tactic/card aspect. It looks kind of fast paced which is always good :)
All metal Gear games suck.

Kpjima ruined video games.

stealth is stupid.
It looks alright. I love Metal Gear, but for some reason this game doesn't really interest me. I'm more interested in titles like Hot Shots Golf, Twisted Metal: World Tour, and Ridge Racer for the PSP.

I like how they kept the stealth aspect, but stuck the cards in there. Personally I do not think that a true metal gear game would work on a portable (You field of vision would be far too small) so this is the next best thing

I also like the new art style. To me, it looks like the Metal Gear series is in comptent hands even if Kojima steps away from the franchise (although I read he was working on MGS4, which is good news)

He says he would like it better if it were for DS...

If it were for DS it wouldn't look half as good as this lol...

Not saying either system is better, but it is hard to argue that the PSP doesn't have superior graphics whether you like the system or not.

I see his point about having the cards on the touch screen, but after playing through Twin Snakes and MGS3, there is no way I could tolerate the game being reduced to N64-like graphics. Half of the appeal of the game is it's theatrics.
