Here the deal. I had two copy mint/complete of it. I kept one as my own and I sold the other @ ebay for $34 (priority mail) shipped with the BIN. Now this guy is threaten me, and going to post a negative feedback because the insert case didn't came with a plastic wrapper thingy. He think the insert cover is glue on to the case. I even took 4 pictures of it at different angles and post it along with the listing while its being auction last week.

I might be wrong, but do yours mgs2 substance came with a plastic cover wrapper to put your insert cover? If it did, I guess I have to refund him? I even told him, just get any mgs2 sob case and replace it if it make you happy. I guess he didn't like my advice.

thanks

You mean the sheet that has the cover/backcover art is naked without a plastic film over it?

I've never seen a new game come without one. Looks like didn't buy them mint/complete, as the case has been tampered with.

yeah, I thought all mgs2 substance doesn't come with a plastic film on its case. I even sent some messages to ebayers who's auctioning their mgs2 substance. They said "no plastic film on it".

I dunno about the Xbox version, but I am pretty sure the PS2 version has the protective film cover. I'll double-check when I get home.

I have a sealed copy right in front of me and it has the regular case with the clear plastic holding the box art in.

I have the game......and lots of other games in dvd style amary cases. They all have the clear plastic "cover" that is permanently attached to the case, then the insert slides in. I would be so extremely pissed if i was the buyer. Not saying you were maliciously trying to screw him, but that is not how it the game and the case is supposed to be. Sounds like you should either refund the $$ or take the negative feedback.

The game you sold was sold as used? If so, the most I would do is refund $2 so the guy can buy a JamPack at CC and put MGS 2 in that case.

Here's the auction link for those interested:

I'm not quite sure what the problem is, but if the buyer is saying that the front insert is glued to the case, then yeah, he has a right to be upset. The question I have is, was there anything wrong/different with the case when you shipped it? If it was a bad case, then I might just send the guy a new case to make him happy, but if the insert was actually stuck to the case, then the guy is due some money back.
I don't understand this thread...Are there any games that don't come in DVD cases with the plastic cover?
I have never once seen a DVD game case without the plastic outer layer.

Not to sound like an ass, but didn't it occur to you when you bought the game without the plastic that it would be a problem when resold?

Sometimes but they are suppose to be sent back to the warehouse from which they came, and not out to the general public. Somebody didn't do their job correctly.
So is it then Glued to the outside of teh "DVD" case? I dont get how its stayed attached?

glue: To stick or fasten

i'm just refund it to him.

If anyone interested, I sell that to you for $25 shipped. The game disc and manual is in mint condition except the case which doesn't have a plastic film to protect the cover sheet.

thanks though
