Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops

I let an idiot friend borrow it last year, and he lost it. It's become somewhat rare, and I told him he needs to buy me one. He said he'll give me $10: "That's what it costs right?" Then I proceeded to tell the idiot it's at least $20. But I may be wrong. Does anyone know of any place that might have it on clearance or anything? If it helps I live in Fort Worth Texas.

I looked all over for a good deal this past winter and finally got it from Goozex.

Yeah, your friend is an idiot. Don't really know of any places that had it on clearance, and if they did, I'd suspect they are gone. I've seen disc-only copies go for $20 on eBay, complete for $30, and new ones for $40+. So, needless to say, if anyone had it for $10 or less, hoarders would have gotten to them by now.

Gamestop sells this for $19.99 used. Use the store stock locator on their website to see if any stores near you may have it in stock. In my experience it's been pretty easy to find at Gamestop.

Definitely should be fairly easy to find at GS. I've seen a number of copies.

It's weird... This game went Greatest Hits, but is crazy hard to find. All the stores cleared it out, and never re-stocked the GH version. The only store which restocked the GH version was Fry's, but I haven't seen it in store lately.

You can check the Fry's in Arlington to see if they have it. GH ver should be $19.99 new.

If you can stand to wait a little bit, it very well may be part of Sony's renewed digital download PSP service that is converting many UMD games into DDs.

I have to agree for a game that went Greatest Hits it is very hard to find, at least for me as well. I only saw a few copies at my local Kmart at the beginning of the year, but once they were gone that was it.

I wish Konami would release a double pack with both Portable Ops and Portable Ops Plus for those who missed out those games.

Yeah, Gamestop seems to be the only actual store you might actually have luck finding a copy. Good luck!

Yeah it's not hard to find really I keep seeing it all the time at my local GameStop, it should retail new for $20

Heck the Portable Ops Plus I believe was a part of that recent Game Days sale that happen, I though I saw that one clearanced for $8, LOL

Just check around, you'll find it, even if it's tucked away.
