i saw substance today for $19.99 used, and i was wondering if that was a good price for this game.

Actually it seems to be about $20-25 on ebay, I thought it was still above $30.

Nope, apperently MGS3 has also gotten quite cheap also. I saw a couple of used copies for under $20.

Fry's has MGS3:SE for $19 for the next couple of days.

Sale also applies over @ outpost.com as well.

Well $20 isn't terrible, it's a better game than MGS2 with it's bonus features. I simply wouldn't run out and buy it because it's "rare".

I picked up two copies at hollywood video for 5 bucks each for their 4 for $20 sale. Had case, but no manual. And I wouldn't buy from a rental store if you're going to pay that much for the game, for a couple bucks more you can get it from an EB or GS and probably get a better quality disc since it won't be a rental.
