Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes (Gamecube) $19.99!!
I'd be all over it if there was free shipping. Paying for shipping just seems so Uncheap now days. :)
Same here.

yea i cant possibly pay for shipping anymore.....it should be free

the only exception is thhe occasional eb sale but atleast its 1.99. but tax is gay too..thats why gamestop.com rules when they have like free overnight shipping

I am so tempted to order this because after playing Substance, I really wanted to play the original (only rented it when it first came out and didn't get too far). This is a great price but I have too many unplayed games to spend $25 on a game now.

I need to get this game before it goes PC, but like Yoshifan, i've been real naughty lately and spending $25 on a game that I may not even play till christmas break is kinda dumb. I'll wait this one out till the shipping is free or it shows up cheaper somewhere else (no Fry's here). Why? Because i'm a cheapass.

You know, you still have to pay tax, it's just that you choose to ignore it. Of course we heterosexuals never pay any kind of tax.

I'm sure he meant "gay" in that Eminem street vernacular way. Although sometimes it does seem that taxes are just bending you over a table and having thier way.

Well my feeling has been that if there HAS to be tax online it should be shipping or taxes NOT both otherwise how the hell can an online retailer or their site even HOPE to compete to a store that's just a drive away.
Crymni who the HELL is "Taylor Rain"? Soz just can't stop looking at your avatar.

Using the word that way, that's so, you know, Christian.

I meant Christian in the eldad9 way, of course.
Nice, I agree with Guyver, definitely worth full price. If you've never played the original, this is the way to go. Better than MGS2 IMO.
Actually, other than the graphics, the original is much better. I was really disappointed in this one. The MGS2 tweaks, such as bodies not disappearing, and enemies clearing rooms and staying on higher alerts after setting off alarms sounds good in theory, but, while MGS2's large areas made this work, it doesn't work very well in this game's small areas. They should have enlarged the areas and changed the maps for this version. The voice acting also isn't nearly as good as the original, even though it's the same actors reading the same script. The overcooked, Matrix - ripoff, revamped camera work during cutscenes can get pretty annoying, and, while it's arguably an improvement over the Chris Columbus style "just stand there and talk" cutscenes the original had, it also alters the mood and pace of the game, which can be a good or bad thing. Finally, the graphics just aren't as good as I hoped. They're sharper, and the characters have more polygons than the originals did, but it barely scratches the surface of what the Game Cube is capable of. It doesn't even look as good as MGS2 on ps2. This is especially disappointing when you look at what Capcom was able to do with Resident Evil.

Taylor Rain = NASTY Anal Pornstar

I have a feeling people know this but whether stores charge tax or not is not up to them at all, it's entirely based on what states they do business with. IE Gamestop.com and Gamestop stores are set up as different companies, the pricing is often not the same and you can't do returns in-store, etc. Gamestop.com only does business in 2 states so that's where tax is charged. EB.com charges tax in every state now sine they merged with the EB B&M stores, prices are usually the same (other than these quick, temporarly online deals) and you can do in-store returns etc.

I love no tax as much as the next person, but lately congress and the IRS have been taking steps to try to wipe out this "loophole" of no tax on interstate transactions. Those laws were written way before the internet was around and so popular. On my last tax return I was asked to fill out how much I spent on internet purchases where I paid no tax so they could tax me on it. I told them jack squat....but that's where they are going...eventually I fear they're going to change the laws and make people pay tax nomatter what.

An online retailer can still compete since it has low overhead/staff compared to a B&M, less customer service usually, often more products and convenience of not having to take a trip somewhere if that's what you prefer.
