hello. i realize that the limited edition of subsistence was for presales only, but i was wondering if anyone knows of a place where i may be able to pick up a copy? i'm really angry at myself for not preordering it and now im in a bind. i really can't afford the $100+ people are asking for it on ebay, so that really isn't an option. many thanks!

If you cant afford ebay, then you might as well kick yourself in the nuts for not putting a pre-order in. The only thing you can do now is travel. Travel to every B&M that is in your area. If you cant find it there, then Ebay is where its at.

Gamers & Ebayers know MGS 3: S LE version is very hard to find & it's very expensive item and you chance is .0000001% to find single new copy at local stores.

I have called (20) stores EB/GS 50 miles nearby and non of them have this sucker. At least they carry tons of regular version.

Could A BB or CC have one? This has been bothering me because I have one & I would like to play it, but I have seen them on ebay & they are selling like for a gagillion$'s

Metal Gear Solid 3 Subsistence Limited Edition was an EB/Gamestop preorder exclusive. They were the only ones to get it.

What's the difference between the limited and standard editions? I know for most games it usually means a stupid bonus DVD with hardly anything good on it, so what does this one have?

...a stupid bonus dvd with hardly anything good on it. ;)

Seriously, it's a dvd w/ all the cutscense from the game edited together into a movie. I think it was worth the $10 extra I paid for it since I got a preorder in, but I can't understand why anyone would pay $70+ extra for it. *shrug*

And no, mine isn't for sale. :p

That's basically what you get with the LE. A stupid bonus DVD that just has all the cut scenes put together into one 3 1/2 hour movie. Comes in a special cardboard box but too but the game inside of it is exactly the same as the retail version, artwork and all.

Are sealed copies + the Saga dvd still going for $150 on Ebay? I haven't even opened mine yet and ever since I found out the game in the LE package is the same as the retail version, I've been debating just picking up one of those and selling mine off.

Gamecrazy had it also.

Long shot, but Gamestop sells the used LE under the same SKU as the regular version so it's only $24.99. This area isn't too savvy about that kind of stuff so I was able to snag a mint used LE for $14.99 after the B2G1F last week.
wat^^^^^^ no way i dont believe you that cheap wow!!!
Yikes, someone had an orgasm ;)
I know this is not the LE version but still take a look.
I siad for you guys to take a look because I bided on this item & was hopeing somebody would take it out of my hands.

I bet you wouldn't even want one if it wasn't such a collectible. Just forget about the LE and enjoy the regular version (online mode kicks ass!!). If you want to watch the videos, I'd try limewire or somethin like that, but most people say the videos are pointless.
