Just got back from kmart in chantilly, va...
was looking for the mario party 4 wave bird bundle pack but ended up seeing only the metroid prime with WB for 19.99!!!! The guy ran it up and it showed up as CONTROLLER 19.99 (didn't say anything about metroid prime or wb) took a quick peek at the shelf to see the wave bird was 35 sepreate and a normal controler 20. I picked one up and vengful joe 1 for 10 bucks... the sticker on the wb bundle is 74.99! ... even though I paid for metro prime at Compusa for 20 bucks 2 years ago so I already have it, the wb bundle was a great deal! I was going to call EB/GS to see whats there trade in for unopened MP 1 and see how much I can get for it. however...stupid nintendo put KMART EXCLUSIVE..WB Wirless controller included! might this be a probleM?

yea i think it usually goes for 20 bucks..but harder to find these days.. uh also looks like games like 007 Golden Eye:RA for cube is selling for about 16 something over there with a bunch of other crap games too....is GE:RA worth it? I was hoping for a computer version (like what they did with Night fire), but looks like thats not gonna happen period.

VJ was 12.99 regular price the weekend of the last sale.

The Wavebird bundle actually dropped to $25 from $30 a couple weeks ago. It seems odd that they would drop it again so quickly. Then again, the $5 price cut seemed kind of low.
 
Can someone please explain what is so great about a wireless controller? No offense to the original poster; in fact, I'll consider getting one...I just don't understand the hoopla. It's a controller...without a cord...is that it?

Someone please explain!
 
The WaveBird is highly proclaimed to be a very good, and reasonably priced wireless controller, unlike many other third-party ones out there. According to test, it is capable of much longer distances then stated.

It has no rumble(To save on battery power.)

The game is also not on the excluded list at EB . . . so I got $13.33 for one in tradein during the PSP 3 for $40 trade in deal. A $7 Wavebird was pretty cool.
 
OK OK peoples...i will scan the recepit later tonight and snap a picture of the bundle if you want proof the actual sale from today.
they had about mm 4-5 left when i saw it. (if only resident evil 4 dropped in price below 20 bucks, meh) well I can't return the game because 1, the recepit just states CONTROLLER 19.99 and not WB/MP Bundle...next the actual MP Cover has the WB Part on it which is a dead giveaway to any Kmart employee that "something called the wireless wavebird" is suppose to come with it. you could always say its inside to the mindless kmart employee if your lucky and you might get away with it IF you make a convincing story but meh. The only barcode he could have scanned in that bundle was the actual barcode from the wb box so it makes me wonder if he could actually scan the wb thats on the shelf and get a reading on it for 20 bucks. hmmm

if you want to try something very slimy . . . you can unwrap the package and return the sealed game for $20. They only scan the UPC on the game for the sale.

Do you have a dog that can go running when the doorbell rings and pull your console off the rack and fall on the floor? What about friends? Do you play multiplayer games? Nothing is worse than having 4+ cords running everywhere. Do you have kids?

Or perhaps your viewing device is farther than your normal cordlength away (this was often the case in our last house).

Cordless controllers are wonderful. :D And Wave birds are the best of them IMO.

Yeah Viewtiful Joe was on normal clearance at K-Mart last time I was there (during the last 50%-off sale) for $13. Methinks it has nothing to do with the 50%-off sale.

no Resident Evil 4 was tagged for 49.99 still... I will check another KM to see if this wb/mp bundle is YMMV thing.

If anyone wants to trade one of these in legit, check with EB to see if it is PO or POX . . . as long as it isn't POX, you can at least $10 on a tradein deal.
 
Confirmed! I have been waiting for this as I found a store that still had 4 of these. I went during one of the blue light sales only to find out that it had hit clearance so it rang up at $30 instead of $20. Anyway I only saw 2 left today. They were marked $24.99 but rang up $19.99. If anyone is intrested in a Metroid Prime sealed let me know. I let it go for $10 shipped.

ok whats PO or POX? and forget trade in...they won't give me more than 1 dollar for MP and 5/9 bucks at EB/GS
 
I went to the Kmart store in Manassas , VA today...Found TWO MARIO PARTY 4's..one tagged 64.99 (I think) and the other one not tagged...Asked for a price check, when the old lady took it out of the case, I noticed it the box said WB included, yet IT WAS NOT BUNDLED..when it rang up it ranged up 34.99 (I thinK) and I was like WTF, they are trying to scam me? Avoid that kmart at all cost
 
i picked up one metroid/wb package at chantilly... i dunno if i should keep it... i already have one wavebird and already beat metroid prime (i borrowed it from a friend) so i dont think i will ever play it again.... hmmm... its still a damn good deal though

wat do you guys think?

Yea I was thinking of getting another one just for the hell of it, but what the heck am i going to do with 3 copies of metroid prime?!?!?!(my own copy and the two wb bundles) and I can't sell it alone espically with the cover art stamped with the Kmart stuff on it.

I sold one to a CAG for $5 shipped, since all I was looking for was the Wavebird.

Make it cheap enough, someone will bite on it.
 
UHH ok...nice to have a wb though even though I have heard some crazy stuff about it prior to release (like extended range beyond stated designed and radiation leaks eheeheh)

I found a few at my local Kmart. They were 25, but still a good deal. I got one for myself and one for my brother.
 
Last I heard this was down to $24.99. I went in last night to replace a WaveBird that met hot death in a Mario Golf marathon and the bundle has dropped to $19.99. The Mario Party 4 bundle is still at $69.99 though.
 
I think it was posted at $19.99 a week ago or so. Also a recent poster mentioned standard Wavebirds (older color, not plat) were marked down to $10. I checked my local K-mart and had them price checked. They were at $29.99 so I guess that is a YMMV.

The metroid prime wavebird combo is company wide though because I have not had trouble getting 3 at three different k-marts and they were all marked incorrectly above $19.99 :) (either $25, $30, maybe higher I forget).

I picked up a couple of these a while back. You don't know how good wireless controllers are until you use these guys and then go back to the regular dual shock on PS2.
