Metroid Prime 3 points of no return? *spoilers*

I would prefer no spoilers to me here, but I am looking to know if there are any points of the game where you can't go back and you can miss items?

just finished with the second Seed on Elysia. I have the map room on Elysia that updated my maps of Norion and Bryyo with item locations and I want to find them but don't know if I will miss them.

I just opened up on my map the Assault on the Space Pirate homeworld, but am afraid it will be a point of no return.

You can backtrack throughout the whole game with exception to boss battles and the very last area but none of those areas have items you can obtain anyway.
