Metroid Prime: Echoes Multiplayer Question

You may remember that when the first Metroid Prime released, it had more than its fair share of criticisms regarding lack of a multiplayer mode. Despite Nintendo's cries that the game wasn't a FPS and therefore didn't need a deathmatch mode, people complained. Well, Retro Studios gave them what they wanted this time around. Regardless of whether the idea was stupid to begin with or if the gameplay wasn't designed well, the multiplayer mode is by far the least of all reasons to buy Metroid Prime 2.

multiplayer = no bots, and no option to invert the default y-axis. it is a throw-away.

but, the single-player adventure is pure gold!
Not bots in offline only multiplayer. Thats pretty sad these days.
halo 2 did it....

But yeah, just don't get metroid prime: echoes for the multi. My friends love the single player though.

I played it with my buddy .. it's all right, I guess. Not very fast paced, though. The lock on makes it easy unless you start circling each other .. and missiles are a little too strong. Weapon pick ups aren't balanced at all, and most of them are completely useless.

Single player is good though.

Halo 2 isn't offline only, but I am mad that there are no bots in Halo 2.

You do realize if you go into morph ball you can break lock. Not that that makes it more fun.
