I know that by hooking up your finished metroid fusion cart to the cube via the gameboy advance and the link cable you can unlock the classic metroid. My question would be, does it stay unlocked or do I have to connect everything when I want to play it again. Can I play the classic metroid with a wavebird? Thanks in advance.

Cool thanks for the info! That was what I was hoping for. With Animal Crossing, Fight Night, Metroid, and the Sonic and Mega Man Collections I feel as if I already have a revolution. Oh and lets not forget the gba player.

errr... so if I borrowed my youngest brother's gameboy and metroid fusion and hooked them up to my gamecube or simply took my copy of metroid prime and my memory card over to my mom's and hooked all that jazz up, I'd be able to go back to my apt with only metroid prime and my memory card and play the original metroid?

... wish they'd have done super metroid with mp2:echoes.

Yep. I just powered up the GC with Prime to make sure.
