Hey all, does anyone know where I can get my hands on this demo? I picked up a used DS (and am fucking loving it) and would love to try the game out. Any suggestions (aside from Ebay which I've checked) is appreciated.

You really aren't missing too much...and considering it was how the game played about a year ago, I'm sure it'll be a bit different when it arrives early next year. If you have seen that recent video of it it certainly looks A LOT more improved now and I am actually looking forward to it more than I was after I played the demo.

Taking a spin through its 2 little play modes will take about 20 min and then you'll never want to play it again. It was a nice little pack in at the time to demonstrate the newness of the DS and its abilities but you'll find better games now that show that off.

Bottom line is, don't go too crazy in trading in for it. :cool:

I haven't much to give, we lack napkins at my house. I do, though, have a copy of Metal Gear Solid for the GBC that I'd be willing to part with if anyone is interested.

Wow, you are willing to trade a semi rare game that got 10/10 ratings from IGN for a demo?

On a side note, I would really like to trade for MGS, would you take on of the GBC Zelda games? (also rated 10/10)

I'm sure he'll correct me on the off-chance that I'm wrong, but I'm fairly certain that he wants to trade his semi-rare game which got 10/10 ratings from IGN for my aforementioned three used napkins.

I'm willing to send first, of course.
 
Seems I've stirred up the bee's nest on this one not realizing what I had. fuck the demo, does anyone have any thing good they'd be willing to trade for it?

It's not *that* good. It's only semi rare, they still go on ebay for a few dollars each, sometimes it gets up to $10.

It only stirred up a bees nest because you were about to trade it for a demo.

I would judge it to be of equal value to a really good GBC game or a good GBA game.

I'm really looking to get my hands on Mario Advance 2: SuperMario World or Mario Advance 4. Not sure if this would be on par with either of those but I'd be willing to toss in a few console demos too.

Dude, getting someone to trade you a $10 game for a worthless demo is no being a cheapass, it's being a total fucking asshole.
