I talked to the clerk at EB today, and he said it wasn't in their database. I'm getting worried. Remember the treatment we got for MGS3's Limited Edition?

Stone Road Mall location. They also have a list of people who pre-ordered.
 
Argh. The LE has much better cover art. But if that art is just on the tin... I'm hoping inside the tin theres gonna be the standard PS3 jewel case with the game...
 
I pre-ordered the LE on April 9 at the Woodside Mall in Toronto but they didn't have any Metal Gear Saga VOL.2 DVDs nor did they give me a Beta key but they said they will call me IF it arrives. They told me that I should've pre-ordered it earlier and now I might not get it at all. Did I pre-order it too late to get those incentives? I'm confused because I read the official press release on April 10 when it was posted on the net.
 
You could try other locations, I guess?
If you only want into the beta, you can do that Japanese account trick that was posted on Kotaku.
 
I picked mine up today, the guy said they weren't calling people who pre-ordered so you might want to give your store a call to see if they've got it.
 
On another note, I have to give a big middle finger to Sony for putting the censored "Beauty & The Beast" trailer that appeared in Germany. Why not just run the trailer uncensored like all the others? Makes no sense.

Yea i noticed that too when i was watching the trailers and i was like wtf ? Whats the point of censoring it, mgs4 is rated M so to get the dvd you have to be atleast 17.
 
watch the beauty and the beast scene on gametrailers and then watch the beauty and the beast trailer Germany thing on the dvd they cut out some of the PMC deaths.

Hi. Although the bonus disc was supposed to be given out to all pre-orderers, some EB locations were forcing you to order the LE to get the disc. Someone called the district manager here in Toronto on Wednesday and she said she'd be calling stores to set them straight, guess it didn't work because when I picked mine up at 5:30pm Weds (Eaton Centre) they were still demanding LE to get the disc. Luckily I had intended to upgrade to LE anyway. Will continue to avoid doing business with EB in the future whenever possible, they don't follow orders, lie, and end up screwing the customer.
 
So... any word on when EB will get the MGS4 PS3 bundle in their system? I'd like to pre-order it just to be sure >_>
 
I'm also curious about when EB will get the PS3 bundle in their system. I asked not long ago and they had no info on it. I'd like to get it pre-ordered ASAP.
 
Ugh, with the new EGM rumours (and I know they're exactly that - rumours) saying that the bundle will be very limited, I reeeeeally need them to get it into the system!

Are you talking about the Gun Metal one? That will probably be ridiculously limited. The normal 80 with MGS4 should be readily available and will probably be the new 80 SKU.

I don't care for the Gun Metal PS3... it looks neat and all... but I'd rather have a black one!
