Back now. They did a blood test and decided that it's an infection (of what we don't know yet) rather than a virus as they previously thought. They swapped out the old medicine with some new medicine. Hopefully it does the trick!
Normally he is bouncing around all over as 2 years olds tend to do, but the past day he has mostly just lied around crying pitifully. (T_T)

Anyway, hopefully the emergency is over as quickly as it began.
 
This is more than 3 bumps, but screw it...

Ryu's fever finally broke tonight. He has now slept peacefully for over 30 minutes straight for the first time in nearly 3 days.

For those of you that aren't parents, believe me when I say, seeing a fever that high just keep going and going makes you feel like the most helpless person in the world. Not a good feeling in the slightest. >_
 
oh nice news about the fever breaking, I don't have kids, but when my pup was sick for a couple of days, (had the Vet make a housecall (it affected her liver so probably a toxin or food poisoning) it was miserable.
But just what you needed was more problems and especially one involving Ryu. But hopefully the dragon gets stronger.

I don't have kids either, but I do have cats. Try and keep them away from things toxic to them. Even onions are deadly for dogs and cats. I'm paranoid about acetaminophen (Tylenol), because a small amount can kill cats. Lilies too. If you haven't, google a list of toxic household items for dogs.
