LOL, just had a CAG with no feedback and 10 posts in his 14 months as a CAG member go so far as to open up a Paypal dispute for $4.50 (shipped) for posters he hasn't received yet.

If it's not actually already there, I won't expect to ever see the money again when the package rolls in...

Seriously though, a dispute? He couldn't just say, hey, I know you have 400+ CAG transactions, but really, I didn't get the posters yet and I'd really like to get that $4.50 back until they arrive.

I'm not going to say who, I mean, who knows, every once in awhile things do take over a month via regular mail to get there from here. I was just irked by him going the dispute route.

EDIT: LOL, yeah, it's a lost cause. I asked him to repay me when he gets the package, and he said that he "doesn't anticipate receiving it".

Well, at this point it seems like he really had no intention of letting you keep the $4.50 from this lowball and was really just looking to try and screw you over, which at this point, is pretty damn pathetic.

It's okay if it was a mistake, or at least the guy was easy to deal with, but traders like these really should not get the benefit of the doubt, especially if they are already trying to screw people this early in the game.

What if he actually does build up feedback somehow and then starts conning people with bigger and bigger amounts?

I just don't think it's worth it at this point to try and protect the identity seeing he has not even made an effort to try and defend himself either in this thread, which I am sure he reads often and is most likely laughing at you.
 
One more thing from me. It's not your fault for the item not showing up if they went for the cheaper shipping. If they wanted it to arrive on time or insure it that is their responsibility to do that. Heck If I asked for another shipping method after the lowball or a lowball, I'm sure ppl would accommodate.

I get what you (and others) are saying. I just want to be very clear about a few things first.
Although I have shipped literally hundreds of packages and have only ever been told one was lost, that certainly doesn't mean it's not possible.
Secondly, I can't verify that he did or did not receive the package, it just seemed strange to go through Paypal like that rather than simply ask for a refund.
