Uh... what a lame response.. If someone doesn't send an item that's paid for it's not the buyers fault. Maybe it should be the other way around? Don't sell your items in a lowball sale if you're not going to ship them.

The guy has already stated that he shipped...so the guy has to wait for it to get there.

I sold plenty of items and all of mine have been received.

My point is that, bidding in lowballs is not a requirement of being on CAG...so if he is upset with them, dont fucking bid.

Wow Ace, way to actually be an ass about something that is kind of a serious thing with the large lowballs like this. I have no idea why you would come at me with an attitude and pop off at me on something like this.

It is not like I am the only person having an issue with this guy. I am trying to point out how it makes people, myself included sometimes a little nervous on bidding on things when we arent sure who it is we are dealing with. I have nothing but faith when it comes to dv8mad and TLP, however they are only the ones running the auctions. They arent the ones shipping everything out. One such as yourself could maybe see where the actions of a seller involved in their lowballs like this last one can affect credibility.

Thats the point I was trying to make.

It's called communication. I keep in touch with all my traders until the trade is complete and I give status updates. If you can't update those you trade with expect questions. That's your responsibility as a seller... The buyer has a right to know regardless of the amount.
 
Also Ace, As he said, by the end of next week, which was today. Also, please note that the post you quoted was made on the 8th, 10 days ago. So maybe you can see why I am asking as to the status of the items?
Furthermore, I am sorry your highness for coming here and asking questions, but this seems to be the only place where i can get any type of answer as this guy does not reply to pm's in any way, shape, or form.

Since there are rules and requirements for buyers in lowball sales to abide by, so should sellers.

Waiting two to three weeks for a package with little communication is a bit worrying to say the least.

I'm not doubting you or any of the other sellers I dealt with during this lowball that provided excellent service.

The package will come in sooner or later but the others and I are expressing their disappointment at this particular seller so others can take note. (I'm sure this is just a fluke occurrence anyway)

I'll make sure to ask dv8 what the rules are for sellers regarding shipping guidelines since I'm confident he shipped more than a week late.

I guess you are to blind to see where I asked if any of the other people that won an item from him had recieved it. I don't even understand why you are involving yourself in this matter as it doesnt even concern you honestly. I came here to get information from those who are INVOLVED in the situation, not those that felt the need to just act all high and mighty.
 
My own two cents...

Folks get busy from time to time. That said, arrangements can be made. For example, refusedchaos wanted to participate, but knew it would be difficult with college and he didn't trust the local shipping center. He shipped everything to me in advance.

Maybe something unexpected came up with Azumangaman. I agree the situation could be better handled through more frequent updates. I'm not going to judge the guy as I don't know his personal situation. I do know he shipped about a week ago and every time I've ordered from Canada it's taken about two weeks, so I think a little bit more time isn't out of the question (Spyder's personal experience aside).

I do appreciate him coming into the thread and taking responsibility for the matter, which I think was a real class act. Does it make up for the delay? That is entirely up to you and is one of the many reasons we've got a feedback system on CAG.

(Speaking on a personal note if it helps to alleviate anyone's worries, I have found Azumangaman to be very trustworthy in the past and I believe that dv8 shares similar feelings, which he can explain further time and interest permitting.)
 
No reason to be going back and forth with this guys. Especially in the thread, as all it will get you is a warning from the mods. I would PM Azumangaman if you haven't already. Sounds as if he has been busy, but I hope that wouldn't keep him from a quick PM response at worst.

As for international shipping, I can empathize with him as I most shipping does not have tracking, so all I can do is say that I shipped it and hope it arrives on time.

If you want a good example of the postal service almost screwing me over and, therefore, screwing over the buyer, talk to Aegith. More than once he got something from me that usually arrives within 2 weeks and it took over a month. Post mark proved it. Sometimes things randomly get stuck... I don't know why.

As for the seller rules in the lowball, all of the sellers were expected to conduct themselves the way any good trader would, that's why there was a feedback limit in order to participate. The bad news is, feedback is not 100% reliable. For example, if tlp won something from me and I said hey tlp, I have no money for shipping, can you wait a little while? and then shipped a month later, is that a little while? I'm thinking no, but will tlp leave me a negative or a neutral?

You bet your ass he would!
I mean, probably not, as we know each other. Sometimes feedback numbers alone don't tell the whole story so, the best I can say is to take note of who you had positive and negative experiences with and take that into consideration in the future.
Sorry I can't do any better than that, but I do my best to pick good sellers to participate.

What I said what sometimes it can make someone hesitant to bid when they arent sure who is shipping what they are bidding on. I think even dv8mad and TLP can understand what I am saying there. I am in no way judging the community as a whole based on one person.

Second, I didnt ask him for an update, I came and asked if any of the others who had won an item from him had recieved it yet. Snice it seems you didnt, I dont get why you had to go on the warpath and get all over my ass for no reason. As I have already said, I was talking to those that this situation concerned, and YOU are NOT one of them.

I never said I dont trust mega lowballs, Only mentioned feedback over a week and a half ago, and no other crap. So please, unless I am speaking to you, dont get high and mighty with me. I have had no problems, issues, or dealings with you in the past, but have viewed you as a stand up guy. However, your attitued with me tonight over something that in now way concerned you has really rubbed me the wrong way. Whatever I may have done to ruffle your feathers I will be man enough to apologize for, but seriously, next time, if it doesnt concern you please dont go jumpin on someones ass like that.

Sorry guys, can't update for a bit and you can expect much more stuff to be added soon as well as the end date. If you've read the blog entry, you'll know that my day is pretty busy. Will get more info to you all ASAP and update the OP as well.
 
Anyone receive their item(s) from Azumangaman? Just curious on how long shipping takes from Canada to US. This is my first time buying from someone in Canada and three weeks since payment is a lot longer than the items I buy from China on eBay.

No disrespect to the seller but 3 weeks shipping from a neighboring country seems very long, especially since people have gotten their items from Japan already.
 
OK, well, we found that after going to the ward office, we won't be able to make it to immigration today, so we had to call and work something out for tomorrow. Bad news, it means Ai has to taker a day off work. Good news, it will give me time to get some items listed here and make some updated. This is starting in just a few minutes.
