They are file folders made out of plastic. Any areas without artwork are transparent. Basically, they are plastic folders so that they don't get all beat up like paper ones and the designs don't wear off easily.

Honestly, I'm not sure. I have not watched the DVD as I was simply keeping it for my BRS collection, but I figure I am better off selling it rather than never watching it and keeping it on the shelf. I can tell you that the one for sale is 50 minutes long while the DVD in the blu-ray set is 52 minutes. Don't know if that means they are different, or the one with the blu just had a bit added to it. It would be a bit strange if the latter as the blu has more added to it than the DVD, so three versions of the same thing... o_O ?
